International Putin signs mutual defence pact with North Korea, heralds 'New World Order' in meeting with Iranian president

Of course Russia is closer to the U.S. and the West culturally, but there’s no other choice when you’re told you can’t be a part of it - you look for the alternatives.

Vladimir Putin was the most pro western politician when he got into power - he visited Bush in Texas, he was the first to call him after 9/11 to offer sympathy and help, he was the one who allowed NATO to use Russia’s bases for their Afghanistan campaign.

During his meeting with Clinton, Putin said that he wanted Russia to join NATO. He wanted to be a part of the western block.

But the West rejected Russia and told it to know its place, the West did not want to treat Russia as an equal partner, to respect it and its sphere of influence.

The West chose to use former Russian satellites as weapons against Russia, first Georgia then Ukraine were thrown against it in order to cause political damage, internal disturbances and the collapse of the economy. As we’ve seen it, all failed and even backfired as European prosperity was fully dependent on cheap Russian natural resources.

Putin sought an alternative and he had to go to the Global East and here we are with BRICS and North Korea and Iran.

As we’ve seen it, all failed and even backfired as European prosperity was fully dependent on cheap Russian natural resources.
This was one of the funniest pro-Russian takes on this conflict.

"Europe is going to freeze over im the winter bro!"

I don’t see why you’re making fun of it. Check the leading European countries GDP growth before and after they cut off Russian gas and oil

Do give us your take on this

What's the plan for when Ukraine eventually gives up?
Did you not hear ? Russia is taking Poland and Baltic states next.

In reality, I believe the West will have to agree to the new security agreement that will satisfy all parties. Ukraine will be back into Russian sphere of influence and there will be no more NATO expansion

That's one possibility for sure. Or we could have terrible leadership that pushes this conflict to the next level.

What do you need me to say ?

European Union growth in 2023 is 0.5% and Germany the leading economy is - 0.3%

So after one "meh"-year the EU is basicly back on the track it was on pre-war (not to mention Covid, which had a way way way bigger effect on economies).

Your conclusion:
"As we’ve seen it, all failed and even backfired as European prosperity was fully dependent on cheap Russian natural resource"

lol.
Russian had an opportunity to serve as a cheap gasstation to Europe.
They somehow failed at that and now it doesn't look like the EU will want to turn back, even post war.

Russia has shared a border with NATO for a million years lmao
God, this claptrap

Not sure that 2008 qualifies as "a million years". I'm honestly surprised Russia didn't put up a larger fight over the other former members of the USSR that joined NATO.

It was not an issue until NATO decided to expand into Russian sphere of influence

Well if your sphere of influence means the citizens are condemned to a life in poverty without too much freedom, people tend to want to leave that sphere of influence.

Yeah, this type of rhetoric is exactly the issue. Russia does not want to be a cheap gas station for anyone and especially declining Europe that is overwhelmed with its own economy and migrant issues.

Russia has already proven it does not need Europe to prosper, it’s the other way around. For Russia, Chinese and Indian markets have way more potential

We wish 'm all the best with that potential.
Just dont bother the rest of Europe.

Russia is the fourth largest economy in PPP. Stop this fucking nonsense with Russians living in poverty.

Right behind India and China, impressive

Didn't say Russians were living in poverty. (But yeah, alot of them are)
I said they condemn people in their sphere of influence to poverty.
Eg: Ukraine, which is exactly why the people want to get out of said sphere.

Ukraine was much better in 2014 than it was in 2022. Before the Russian invasion, a lot of western media were calling Ukraine as the most corrupt state in Europe, clearly Russia had nothing to do with it. So it was an internal Ukrainian issue where the regime had two main goals : stealing money and building the anti Russia state

Invades a country:
"They were much better off before we invaded"
Lol

What I’m saying is Ukraine was much better in 2014 with Yanukovich in power than in 2022, 8 years after the so called pro European regimes got in charge there
