Elections Project 2025 major right wing groups plan on creating a new super super pack

It's funny because I can barely even keep track of the stuff they freak out about at this point. Last year the big thing was CRT and now it's DEI and next year it will be something else. There's always a new bogeyman to keep them outraged. For some reason all of that gets a free pass but when a bunch of powerful people literally tell you how they are going to reform the nation in a 900 page document it is somehow wrong for us to be fearful of the future.

Daily Wire is a pretty prominent right-wing group and even they are openly flirting with the idea of dictatorship. They say this shit out loud and then try to gaslight us into thinking we're the crazy ones.

Wait, did Ronda santis defeat woke or are they putting that off until 2028?

Without even looking just at the South, we've long had a reactionary element in politics. For example:

I wouldn't blame the end of the Fairness Doctrine on Fox, but Fox is probably part of the story of how that element came to take control of a major political party. I don't even think Murdoch wanted it (he's really just interested in tax cuts for rich people and cutting the safety net to pay for it). But his agenda is unpopular, while creating a kind of RPG/reality show of politics is box office.
I’d say the bigger culprit is the 1996 telecommunications act and media consolidation leading to local news channels having to do things like this
because they are owned by one company, Sinclair.

Leeja is an attorney who goes into great detail about the Reagan Effect:

It goes past replacing people that normally are switched out with a change in administration. They want to get rid of thousands of people who have held these jobs for multiple administrations, making it their careers, with people loyal to the plan.
Yes, and the reason you're upset is because DC is 93% democrat and already filled with liberal careerists and social climbers who are "loyal to the plan" for every democrat, and there to hamstring every republican.

The panic is entirely from democrats who are scared that people might actually get to vote to have some say in their government instead of voting being just for show with the same permanent government running things no matter who is elected. You obviously wouldn't be complaining if DC was 93% republican and a democrat got elected and wanted more liberals in the government.

Who was it that mentioned paranoia earlier?

I’m fairly certain that the majority of federal employees don’t live in DC.

I shot who in the what now?

There are levels to this shit. You guys are acting like a bunch of scared little girls, over some dastardly "project" that basically says that when the Republican wins the Presidency, they're gonna install favorable people into positions of power...like every single other President has done.

Still waiting on all those Republicans Biden has in his cabinet...
Biden appointed a number of Republicans who mostly refused posts much at the time with angry democrats over it. Recently I believe he is seeking to appoint Adam Kinzinger. Lindsey Graham gave compliments to Biden over the budget talks. He not really super popular with the harder left members.

I honestly can't believe how far the right has drifted from reality at this point.
Then we have posters here who are just dishonest hacks obfuscating the shit the supreme court and thought leaders jnnthe movement are pushing for.

If you were to lay out these plans and actions with Joe Biden and the dems as their leaders most normal republican voters would be calling for a revolution.

Exactly
I’m not old enough to forget Jade Helm

Yeah this seems like a lot of fear porn for lefties. I had a friend of mine squaking about this so I asked him to explain. Sure sounds like standard run of the mill politics.

The head of of the Heritage Foundation, who organized Project 2025, is calling it a part of a “Second American Revolution” that will be “bloodless if the Left allows it.” How promising. That is not the rhetoric of standard, run of the mill politics.
To summarize Project 2025 as just “hey, they just want to make conservative appointments” is a total and gross misrepresentation—and that should be obvious, because if that’s all it was, they wouldn’t need a 1000 page manual or any type of unified Project to do it, would they?

Right now, only about 4000 federal positions are at-will, meaning they can easily be fired and changed from administration to administration—Trump plans to reinstate his previous executive order called Schedule F, which he signed in Oct 2020 but never got to implement due to losing the election. Schedule F vastly expands the number of fireable federal employees to something like 50,000+. The key here is not appointing “conservatives,” generically, but rather Trump loyalists.
—I shouldn’t have to remind people that history has plenty of examples of times a government was solely loyal to one man, and this typically does not go well, to say the least.

This plan includes such “highlights” as completely gutting the DOJ, install loyalists, remove its independence, and grant it expansive new powers. Also “re-examining” (cough) the tradition of providing work space for the White House Press Corps (i.e., eliminating press oversight), gutting all D, E, and I programs, gutting anything to do with LGBTQ people….

Nothing about this is normal. Nothing about this is run of the mill. For those who say “durr fascism could never happen here,” it certainly can, and this is how it starts.

The lack of reaction by Republicans is scary. Imagine if a Democrat said “We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the right allows it to be.” They would be screaming murder.

What a bunch of political hacks.

The fact that plans and rhetoric like this have become normalized on the Rigjht is frankly scary AF. These people have lost their fucking minds.

They actively want these things that’s why there is no push back. At least they have been convinced that this is what they want. It’s not a cult though.

It's just the most recent panic to keep them scared. It's nazis, it's qanite, it's national Christians, it's the Koch brothers, it's Juicy smullet, the Russians are coming. It keeps switching and we get a year of every lefty making threads, then it switches to something else when the panic dries up.

Nobody is very specific about what they're scared is going to happen, but they have plenty of youtube CT videos telling them they need to be scarec of something.

The reaction is support. This is what the mainstream right wants, and it's a natural outgrowth from their worldview. This is something I don't think you grasp (and why bothsidesism is wrong). Since the '70s, Republicans have been working on developing alternative information sources and discrediting (to supporters) non-partisan information sources. If you believe that all non-partisan media, academia, and gov't data sources are deliberately giving false information to help your enemies get power, it makes perfect sense that you'd want to get in the game (and note that even the most die-hard Republicans generally realize that Fox has a bias toward the GOP; they just think that real media sources have the same bias against them). If you believe the "deep state" idiocy, you're going to want to take control of it.

lol @ this tin foil hat conspiracy nonsense. What's next...is there some Project 2030 or "Great Reset" agenda as well?
{<jimmies}
I’m reacting to a group that literally exists, with a policy manual and playbook that literally exists.
From their own website:

“Our goal is to assemble an army of aligned, vetted, trained, and prepared conservatives to go to work on Day One to deconstruct the Administrative State.”

I am reacting to their openly stated policies. What’s the conspiracy, exactly?

That's the same thing those crazy conspiracy theorists kept saying about "The Great Reset" and "Agenda 2030"

"It has a website!"

"Official world leaders are openly talking about it!"
