Prime Fedor fought and beat younger versions of Big Nog (x2), Cro-Cop, Coleman (x2), Randleman, Big Tim, Hunt, Schilt, and Arlovski. There is really no comparison with that and who Stipe is beating now (although there is no denying Stipe is a great champion). It's like apples and oranges.
 
To think that "prime Fedor" would beat Stipe is to deny that the MMA evolved since Pride days.

You really believe Stipe would let "prime Fedor" armbar him like Coleman or KO him like Heath Herring? Don't be silly.

Fedor gave his back and got H Bombed into oblvion by MW Hendo. Enough said.

The best part was that, Fedor ducked UFC for years, decades even plus, ducked Reem x2 in SF then HW champ before a 3 fighting losing streak. Hendo 1 punch rd 1 was the icing on the cake. A former UFC fighter with a 9-12 record + 0-4 in gift title shots one punched Fedor. Exposed his sloppy striking, can crushing, and ducking.
 
I remember Prime Fedor grabbing the roles to avoid being taken down by Matt Lindland.

I imagine a prime modern day HW would be just fine against Fedor.

We get it, you don't like Fedor. That said, he's still the HW GOAT. He beat everyone he fought for a decade. Stipe has already lost that race.

He's right though. Why didn't Fedor fight Overeem? They were in the same organization and Alistair was the champion.

The problem isn't who he beat but, who he DUCKED like REEM. The UFC org whereby a 9-12 MW 1 punched him. If he fought the best the UFC had to offer, he would have been trashed before SF.
