I remember swanning around Canada when I was getting $2.42 Can to the £ getting sunburned on the West and East coast of Oz,but again the 2.3ish to the £ helped soothed the pain, even had $2 US to the £ before, now Sterling is almost on par with....

Last time I went to England was around 2006, and I believe it was 2:1 in favor of the pound. It was a costly trip.

Yeah, it has made it much easier for people to whine about decisions.

If they're going to introduce technology like this for the media, I wouldn't have a problem if refs were allowed to review goal scoring plays.

.....which opens up another set of problems, too.

Almost an unsolvable problem, really.

Going to America was f'n GREAT. Could live like a king. Anytime a friend went out there, I'd give them some money for clothes. Especially before online shopping was a thing. Karl Kani this, Tommy Hilfiger that...

I think goal line tech has improved things. So long has there is a strict set of guidelines for the reviews, I'd be onboard.

Things like ruling out a goal because there was a shirt tug in the build up would create all sorts of problems.

Not true, but heh ho.
There's some credence to what you've posted before about bigger clubs usually attacking more, ergo invoking a proportional law of averages situ etc but i'm not convinced your lot are creating that much more than the midtable sides, currently.

Pool(yeah, i know they're in top 4 currently) created more chances than you other day despite playing away & having less possession.

Lets keep a rough tally itt here on out & we can start to apply some real time context.

There was a time we had a 2:1 advantage on the Aussie dollar, but I wasn't able to make the trip at the time.

like I said, opposite for me,even finding a shop with mint aeros and galaxy ripples double the price wasn't a deal breaker because of the strength of the £ and the ghastliness of Hersey's chocolate.

It's also worth mentioning that people tend to focus way more on decisions that favor big sides and ignore the ones against them. United got some pretty shit calls early in the season, which seem to go unmentioned in comparison to their streak of offside goals.

Well to use the Liverpool game as an example.....people were quick to point out that Valencia was (marginally) offside in the build up to Zlatan's goal. The same people said nothing when Rooney was wrongfully judged offside 2 minutes earlier when he had a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a stickler for this fine margin calls shit lol

Was rustled last week when UV's Alonso got awarded a goal in FF instead of an assist due to it being an own goal. Eriksen didnt, which took an assist away from Kane & gave McCauley an OG.

Alonso's shot was going straight at the keeper until it got deflected
