I've seen crimes posted in the Berry when there wasn't an obvious political angle. There's even the "Bizarre cases of the Missing and Murdered" thread. Also the "would you bang her" thread with the chick who did meth and dismembered her boyfriend.

First one could fly in either Berry or WR. Second one is Berry since the intended discussion point isn't about the crime.

If you had titled it "would you bang this chick?" then yeah it could fly in the Berry. I'm sure there are plenty of threads that could be in either one but when the title intends to discuss the crime then you can't really argue it heading to the WR.

We could probably talk about whether some combination of wages, cost of living, and deteriorating mental health in the country led to a woman stabbing a pregnant lady because of a $2 tip.

Or her background? Would it still be random if say, she was an immigrant? Illegal?

Then again, this is Sherdog so we're just going to discuss whether we would or not.

You've agreed it's not political and a lady getting stabbed 14 times in front of her small child doesn't seem like lighthearted discussion to me so I don't know where else this would go besides OT?

Also, nobody got stabbed over $2, it was over a perceived disrespect. However, the version of the story I got a couple days ago was that the lady only had a $50 and wanted to tip more. The stabber said she couldn't break a $50 (or was lying to get a bigger tip) and that's why the tip was only $2.

Hell, there's actually a thread right now in the WR specifically about tipping culture in America and people are getting fed up with it. And part of that is the expectations of the service industry workers. And you can't find a way to relate this at all?

That 50 dollar no change thing seems like bullshit. I saw an interview with that victim. She told the reporter the food arrived late and cold so she thought it didn't deserve a good tip. I don't even think the stabbing was motivated by money. The victim told the attacker where additional money was being kept and the attacker didn't even go for it. I don't like to victim blame but the victim has face tattoos. I am assuming this situation is due to some perceived disrespect by the victim.

Edit: I found another article. The victim was kind of a cheapo. The store doesn't give their drivers money for change. The woman made the driver go get change for 50 then only gave her 2 dollars.
