Post Your Gloves/Gear

Saw them on fit2box. Whats the regular Prince?

I Just bought Bryant Boxing Imperials on eBay. Cant wait for them to arrive.
Regular price is 169gbp, I paid half that then spoke to Empire because the quality of the gloves is shitty. They gave me another 25% off.

Finally got a chance to use them last night. Not recommended. It's shameful these are in the same price bracket as FlyX or Phenom

I can’t believe this is still alive. Is Muhammad still here “top boxer” ? 7 years with his gloves and they still work

One of my favorites

Do someone know here why Winning's products are almost always out of stock?

I bought 16oz Winning gloves 6years ago for 250€ (I guess at the time, it would have been 280$), today almost no website have them in stock and prices are just crazy, between 400 and 600 euro/dollars and you have to add the import taxes that are more than 100€...
What's going on here?

And I must say, despite all the good brands there is, I always end up selling my others gloves and come back to my winning, there are that good.
Fakes products are in all platforms like eBay, so very hard to trust.

Anybody have some informations about this situation?

You tried flys?

From what I heard there's a boxing fad in China and the Chinese yuppies buy the best so.....Winnings are in short supply.

I have a pair of Fly's. Meh. Not Winning caliber IMHO.

Thanks! Ok so China is buying all the premium product... You talk about a strange turn of events.
I never really liked Fly from what I saw, they seem too broken from the start and poor wrist support. they would be at 150€, I would try, but not at their price.

I guess my best option are Adidas Adispeed or Ring to Cage C17 v2.0. Very hard to find the ring to cage in Europe, but apparently they are very good Winning clone.

Again, this is just what I heard so don't take it as gospel.
On Fly's I don't hate mine. Thyre in my regular sparring rotation but they're too soft, which is my real issue. However if you wanted to try I'd go to the Fly website and register and put a pair of gloves in your basket and then go away. I did that by accident and they started texting me "How bout we give you 5% off those gloves?" Then a few days later "How about 10% off?" I think they got up to 20% and I bit. Dunno if that gets them in your price range, but it's a no risk thing. And FWIW Fly's seem to have a better reputation than in my experience (I have the Superlace X's, from circa 2021ish.)

I can't speak on ring to cage or adidas.

The Ring to Cage's are probably the best Winning clones out there.

I just went for fun for the Everlast Powerlock 2. Small price and the wrist support seems interresting. Not a big risk!

Curious to see how you find them. I tried them out for a little while a few years ago, and found them to be pretty trash. I actually hurt my hand in them in such a way that I had to train southpaw for a couple of weeks while it healed. I've never gone back to Everlast after that, but I hear people praising the MX line all the time.

The wrist support issue is a little quizzical to me. I feel like one person said it and it gets repeated. Locking the wrist in place with the long laces is no problem.
I bought the superlace x about a year ago and I really love them. Padding is a nice in-between of feedback and protection

Better wrist support then winning Velcro lol

The fly x's are softer then the fly premiums in fairness.

I have no doubt that the fly are good gloves. But too expensive. And I have to say that I don't like the design and the logo... Make the action of buying a little more difficult when the price is high!

There is a guy in Japan on Insta who sells Winnings internationally without the ludicrous mark-up applied by most retailers. I got a pair from him 9 months ago. You tell him what you want and he will let you know when they're in stock. Ships and you have them inside a week. I found him through the boxing collector Insta chat group (probably a few of you guys are part of that too).
winningglovesglobal is his insta tag, I think.
