Your a sucker? Man I thought these were top gloves Youth Boxing Gloves-Everlast.com

Back in the day, I didn't even know what a good glove was. I thought my "Main Event" gloves were the best out there...ha....

Omg I have those! I read the back in the car and it has rating of how good the padding is and wrist support. Thats some BS. Whats even more BS is the review on everlast saying that these gloves are great 5/5. But I'm glad Triumphs>Hayabusas because if not Triumphs I was probably gonna get Hayabusa's but people said they were a bit hard.

I didn't say it was all hype, simply that you're paying a premium for unique colors and designs.

That would be me. I see gloves as functional works of art, and I'm fortunate enough to have the disposable income to buy more gloves than are necessary, but of course wouldn't buy any gloves that I don't plan on using. I like rotating a pair in for a week at a time. But that doesn't change the fact that the next guy who's more skilled won't beat my ass with his old beat up Twins.

Remember the old Sock 'em boppem inflatable gloves? I think those have more wrist support then those Everlast.

Lol I always wanted those. Was a troubled kid back then. I was always influenced be Power Rangers and Jackie Chan and I would fight kids for no reason. Sock em boppem would have been the best sparring gloves :D

Dude it was awesome. It gave me a reason to fight people haha

If you call right now we will send you an extra pair of gloves for FREE! *just pay shipping and handling

Anyone else ever notice how yfg always posts about some yakthai gear on vayupakstore.com and vayupak always posts about yakthai gear. They also both happen to use very bad broken english and both just happened to join in October. I noticed this a while ago, and it really bugs me how he pretends to be two people to try to trick people into buying his products and shopping at his store.
I just think it's shady and I wouldn't buy from him.

Yup and YFG sounds an awful lot like Yakthai Fight Gear. Anyway, Yakthai has spammed in the past and I guess that's just lead to a more complex pattern.

Reporting a post here doesn't really do much. PM Fozzy directly about it and he'll take action (that's the approach he himself recommends).

I didn't say it was all hype, simply that you're paying a premium for unique colors and designs. Personally I wouldn't have paid full price for them and I didn't. Take that with a grain of salt because I refuse to pay full retail price for anything. If you like cool-looking gear of solid quality then Hayabusa is a good buy. I just don't think they significantly outperform other equipment of a comparable price range. Going with plain jane gear will save you several bills and perform similarly.

Also, Hayabusa goes out of their way to sponsor A LOT of MMA fighters. So if anything, the extra bills you spend on their pricey gear goes to progressing the sport which I think is a good thing.

I bought my 16oz hayabusa for $60 so I payed less then what other guys did, it also helps that Hayabusa has outstanding customer service, if any of there gear starts to wear out, they send you a brand new replacement!! Ringside,Title,Grant,Winning,Lionsdale would probably never do that

Very true as well. I never needed to use that option but its good to keep in mind. I've read about people doing it but it almost seems too good to be true. How can they make money as a business by replacing gear that is worn out but not defective? If so, i'd like to upgrade my first generation Hayabusa MMA shinguards asap.

Here we go finally got pictures of my gear, will get more soon.
(The little blue thing is the glove key chain I got for free from ringside.)

1. Ringside bag gloves 2. Triumph 2.0 Heatseekers 3. Shitty Everlast 4. Everlast speed bag gloves

You can see the bump on the gloves, look wierd but don't detract from the gloves overall performance. Also a small part of the logo on that glove is a bit faded away.

Also these gloves collect dust really easy as you can see. Sorry for the bad quality if you guys want more pictures just ask.

I still don't see any difference between these and the 1.0's. Look for a review on these in a while, I'd rather put these through some use before I do a review. So far so good. Something I don't understand is the writing on the wrist is in white shouldve been in red.

^^^I think I'm going to pick up the 1.0's after Christmas. PrivateMMA is having a Triumph sale on the 27th so I'm curious if they will sell gloves.

Not really sure why I added the shorts. Oh well lol. I have other shit too but it's sort of no point in posting. I'm sure none of you want to see my groin protector...or maybe you do

It was like I was doing a review :icon_lol: mb.
Snowman is that the headgear that was on sale for $20 on ringside? How does it fit?

It's actually a pretty small fit. I should have gone up a size, which would be a large. I mean, it fits and all, just seems a little tight. But I guess that's a good thing if you wearing headgear right? It's decent headgear, but I would only recommend it for boxing. You would probably get your ass handed to you in a muay thai class simply because it's hard to see anything below your eye level.
