i just picked up a pair of triumph united silencers. i'll be selling a no foul protector here today, maybe i'll be able to get a picture of all my gear and put it up. when i got the gloves my girlfriend was like "now you need to buy something to punch!" i was like, "sweet, i got permission and didn't even have to ask!" lol

They are excellent the best 50 bucks I have ever spent. Thanks to Arkitekt

Thanks bud but I can't take all the credit. I never would have considered getting Heatseekers if it weren't for Clamp's review.

Speaking of which, i've given my Heatseeker 2.0s a bit more time in the gym and they've grown on me a bit. I still think Ringside's IMFs are a better glove in comparison because of the way it fits me personally but they are still solid gloves.

In addiction land she would be called an 'enabler' lol.

The shinguards finally came in the mail! Here's my contribution to the thread as promised.

What? I never knew you had the superlative headgear. How is it because thats what I'm getting next.

What kind of gloves did you have? Did you have the "Pro Style Grappling Gloves" or "Leather Grappling Gloves". The names are coming directly from the Everlast website.

The ones I have are these 6 oz. Leather Grappling Gloves-Everlast.com

I would say they are very good quality. They do need to be broken into though and the finger areas are a little tight. I have small hands and own a regular and they pretty much fit perfectly to my hand. Lot of people prefer a large though.

The strap system is sort of annoying...it works well, offers really good wrist support, but it's nearly impossible to put on if your in a rush.

I have 3 pairs of the "6oz" Everlast gloves. The "6oz" is in quotes because a size large weighs in right at 4oz and XL is just barely heavier than that. They are the most comfortable MMA gloves I have ever tried. I've always preferred Fairtex, but was usually slightly annoyed by the thumb loops.

The Hayabusa style double closure system is awesome though as you mentioned it takes a bit longer to put them on. The strap in the middle of the palm is great. I bought a large pair in white as a bit of a crapshoot purchase since they were $20 at CSI. I loved them and bought 2 XL pairs, one in red and one in blue so I could wear them with short wraps underneath. I thought they would be garbage, because Everlast has ALWAYS disappointed me (outside of the 4 Everlast heavy bags I own).

It may be hard to put any past experience behind you and order a pair, but it's well worth the price that's being asked for them at this point.

Yeah pretty much couldn't agree more. I was really surprised by the quality of these. I mean...they literally fit like a glove haha. Excellent design. They are much better then the "UFC" brand gloves. I don't really have a lot of other grappling gloves. I have some Hybrids but the rest are MMA sparring gloves.

just put a bid on another pair of grappling gloves. don't even use them for grappling, but i can't pass up a good deal hahaha! at least i'll be prepared if i ever need them. i could always use em on a bag

12 OZ Top King, 10 OZ Green Hill Aiba, 10 OZ SUD (Local brand from Slovenia but the gloves are made in Pakistan), 10 OZ Pride gloves for my 7 year old son and SUD focus mitts.

My next purchase will be Ringside or Title gel 10 OZ gloves. Still looking for Raja boxing gloves for less than 50,00 €UR with shipment. Six Deuce gloves also look very interesting (Six Deuce MMA and Muay Thai Boxing Gloves - Six Deuce (62) Clothing and Gear for MMA, Muay Thai, and Combat Sambo) and I will definitely buy a pair in the near future.

Got to say the best gloves in here without a doubt have been the Kanpeki Hayabusa. Outstanding.
