I feel the same, but at the same he is incredibly knowledgeable, so he must follow the sport and just the drama. He can remember obscure undercards fights from 10 years ago, he knows the coaches, managers, and he knows way more fighters than the rest of MMA journos.

He doesn't really talks about the fights themselves, but if you think about it, why talk about the things that people watch? He talks about the rest, about what people don't see when they watch a UFC event.
