He choked out rampage too late in the fight. Rampage claimed he missed training against that sub. thats his story and hes sticking to it.
How so?I think it's a case of tyson-spinks syndrome. That wasn't a "real fight" either.
The Machida choke looked to me to be the Cody McKenzie grip guillotine.Wasn't it the same choke he used on Machida ?
Is Jon Jones going to have to choke a b*tch should be his catch phraseThe Machida choke looked to me to be the Cody McKenzie grip guillotine.
The Jones v Gane choke.... to me looked a lot like the Rothwell v Barnet choke, which I believe was a trachea attack.
Thats what it looked like with Gane. He couldnt perform. I dont know if it was jones moving up a weight class that put extra pressure on him to win (or just made it a bigger fight in his head). He showed no nerves against Ngannou. How so?
Spinks and his team have admitted he was terrified and completely "psyched out"

He and ngannou trained together so there was no real surprises there. It was a very important fight but at the end of the day, he already sparred with ngannou, he knew Francis was human.Thats what it looked like with Gane. He couldnt perform. How do you expect him to do with his fight tomorrow?
Physiques don't win fights.
Except that fight was utter BS.True. If physique was a big factor, Dricus DuPlessis would have destroyed Khamzat brutally considering how much superior Dricus' physique looks compared to that of Khamzat's.
You've been here long enough to understand that logic and reason have NO place on this forum!!Nah, you know what's ACTUALLY funny?
Every "big fight" (Just in 2025--Pereira vs Ank 1 and 2, Merab vs O'Malley 2, Charles vs Ilia, DDP vs Khamzat) you'll have people who are making proclamations as though they KNOW what's gonna happen. If you're honest, you acknowledge it and have seen it here card after card. And inevitably (of course) many of them are very wrong. But what we really DON'T see is people ahead of time plotting to take the names of anyone who made these ridiculous proclamations so they can turn the forum into the biggest shit show imaginable by dragging them all. Or if we do see that, it's pretty sparse.
But here, (and we all have a pretty good idea why), I keep seeing this same sentiment. For some weird reason (and when I say weird, I mean "obvious"), the Aspinall supporters are looked at as being more egregious than say those who trashed Khamzat and said he wouldn't show up at all and if he did that DDP would be too big and strong for him.
So why don't I save you the time and give you an actual solid breakdown of the fight ahead of time so you don't need to sit around wishing on your lucky star that Gane wins just so you can throw it in people's faces:
It's a fight. A HW fight no less. Gane is a good fighter. Extremely good athlete, polished striker. His skills are good enough to have gotten him into 3 title fights, so I'm quite sure he's no bum.
That said, he's a 3 or 4 to 1 underdog for a reason. He's facing a guy who's at least as fast, more powerful, a far better finisher, and who's grappling looks to be far superior. There are far more paths to victory for Aspinall. But upsets happen. We see it well after week.
Hope that helps.
Everything after the first line of your post is irrelevant bsWhat is making it up? The guy has defended 2 takedowns in the UFC in the 1st round against a 10 days notice Spivac. Took down Baudot, Arlovski, and Volkov. Hasn't gone past 1 minute into round 2. I should be able to say his cardio and wrestling is unknown, especially when people are posting fantasy matches with Brock/Cain/Stipe/Etc...
He has a BJJ base, so I really don't think he's easy to sub, but it's also to be seen if he's on a Werdum/Mir/Big Nog level.
He's very quick and has good power, is decently well rounded bare minimum. However Gane is well rounded too, he's won fights by taking guys down or standing. He got his wrestling checked at a high level which Aspinall has yet to.
I think it's denial to say no one here is shitting on Gane saying he's a guy with no wrestling and a white belt. Or denying there isn't a sizable crowd who expects Aspinall to KO everyone on the feet 1st round forever and he has no weakness.
I'm going to be excited for HW if he gets past Gane and Almeida. Aspinall is minimum top 3 HW right now. However, it remains to be seen what level his game is besides striking. The division is so weak and thin, maybe it doesn't matter.
No I'm not Tiny Timmy. I'm just mocking all you Jones stans embarrassing yourselves with your ridiculous take. You are really going off tilt here little buddy, I hope you are OK.
It literally does not matter if it's a year ago or 10 years ago, things still change over time. It doesn't matter how you try to twist it you're still a hypocrite.1. Is 2022 and 2023 a lot more recent than 2015
2. Have we seen evidence Tom has improved his game in those areas of supposed weakness against higher calibre of opposition since then? Have we for Gane?
Thank you and goodnight.
of course it matter. Don’t be ridiculousIt literally does not matter if it's a year ago or 10 years ago,
Fight could go exactly the same way like Jones Vs Gane...
Again with the character attacks. Low IQ rebuttal. Your opinion of me matters 0% to my day, just my girlfriend's opinion. I can deal with heat from random internet "bullies" probably because I was in the military. I only care to discuss MMA.Everything after the first line of your post is irrelevant bs
Nobody said his grappling is undefeatable or any of the other lies you made up
Try making a post without being childish and immature and making stuff up?
