Paramount Plus black friday deal

Paramount Plus will increase its subscription prices starting January 15, 2026, with the Essential plan rising to $8.99 per month and the Premium plan to $13.99 per month.

They still haven't really clarified what plan is needed to see the PPVs thought right?

I don't believe they have clarified it. The essential plan includes commercials for all programming. The Premium plan is supposedly without ads. Since the UFC shows commercials in between rounds and plastered the rest of the PPV with them, It seems like the Premium plan wouldn't gain you anything.

$140 for every ufc event is good value. I mean I wont be paying for it but it sounds like good value.

Then again with Ilia & Khamzat squatting on their belts while fighting 1 time a year at best, and Poatan likely retiring soon, probably not much value.

I thought it was just premium but now I’m reading that it’s both of them, with the premium being ad free. A steal if so, although I despise ads enough that I’ll pay the extra to avoid them.

got the premium plan for the year for 50% off
I got the middle one with no adds. I was gonna get it anyway so might as well do it now while there is a good deal on. If the stream sucks I'll cancel

LOL at thinking your going to get a UFC card with this 2 month $2.99/month black friday deal. UFC 324 doesn't start till Jan 24th. I doubt UFC is even available on that tier.

Burger king + Walmart have a deal that expires in feb 26 I think. However there is still no confirmation on what tier ufc will be made available, to my knowledge

Any update on what tier we need for ufc?
I asked Grok if the essentials plan would get the UFC shows.:

Yes, the Paramount+ Essentials plan will include all UFC shows starting in January 2026, such as the 13 annual numbered events and 30 Fight Nights, with no additional fees beyond the subscription cost. This applies to both the ad-supported Essentials plan ($7.99/month or $59.99/year currently, rising to $8.99/month or $89.99/year in January 2026) and the ad-free Premium plan ($12.99/month or $119.99/year currently, rising to $13.99/month or $139.99/year). Live UFC events will include commercials regardless of plan, just like other live sports on the service (e.g., NFL on CBS). Selected bouts will also air on CBS broadcasts, but full events stream exclusively on Paramount+.

For context, this $7.7 billion, seven-year deal (effective January 1, 2026) ends the traditional pay-per-view model in the U.S., making UFC fully subscription-based. International rights vary (e.g., Fight Nights and prelims in Australia).

Grok directed to this official link from Paramount plus that includes the Essentials plan.

Yeah I imagined you pay extra for the commercial break screen saver instead of a draft kings ad.

How to watch UFC 2026

To watch UFC action in 2026 is to enjoy simplicity. In short, in 2026, you can watch all UFC numbered events, and all UFC Fights Nights on Paramount+ with a Paramount+ subscription – any plan, either the ad-supported Paramount+ Essential plan, or the Paramount+ Premium plan, which features no ads (save for live TV), and includes the latest seasons of SHOWTIME® shows like Yellowjackets and Dexter®: Resurrection. There are monthly and annual options for each subscription plan – your choice. All subscription models will get you Octagonside.

Do you need premium for ppv?

Either plan will be fine. Premium is ad free but only for TV shows, live sports will still run ads regardless so if your only buying Paramount+ for UFC then get the cheaper plan.

My Amex card has a cashback offer for "$12.99 off if you spend $12.99 or more" On Paramount+ plus for up to 3 times until March, so that's the next 3 months totally free for a premium plan.

Somebody posted a pic of upcoming plan options showing a no ad SD UFC, and a no ad HD UFC, and i think the lowest plan has no UFC. I don't know if its fake or not.

I'm already locked in for a year but if I could tack on a couple more months at that price I would.

I've seen it. It's 100% fake

Yeah i kinda figured, but ESPN+ now has an unlimited plan for $30-$35/month so it wouldn't be too far out of the realm of possibility.
