Honestly, I may be alone, but I really don't mind a price increase even if it's a big one. Being able to watch UFC while avoiding the ridiculous PPV prices and needing to have ESPN as a channel will still save me a bunch of money.

Exactly. Even with the price increase if you have a local CBS affiliate then all you need is the basic plan for UFC which the new increased price will be $9 a month or $90 for the year.

Essentially watch 40+ events a year for the total cost of what a single PPV use to be.

I know they offer deals or whatever to order directly, but if you just get Paramount + through Amazon it works perfectly.

I use paramount +, on the Amazon stick. Could be perhaps I need to manually update the app, but it's pretty awful.

I used to pay for Fight Pass and use a VPN set to Germany to watch all the non PPV portions without ads but they started detecting the VPN on my Fire device so I just stick with my IPTV service. Who needs all these streaming services when you can pay for a cheap IPTV service and get everything.

Remember when it was touted as a way to lower cost and cut the cord of cable. Then all the idiots of the world fell for it.

To be fair the beginning of the streaming age was not that bad. There were very few major players and those few players (i.e. Netflix) actually had stuff you wanted to watch. Now streaming services just kind of suck all the way around (i.e. Netflix) or the user interface is trash (i.e. HBO Plus or Max or whatever when it first started, ESPN+).

And this everybody is the reason, at the end of the day, why pirates always win. Corporations didn't learn their lessons when CD's were overpriced and people were able to burn CD's. They didn't learn the lesson during Napster, KaZaa, Limewire and they won't learn here either.

Yes the ESPN app is epically bad. Buffering, cumbersome navigation to UFC, doesn’t save preferences, playback interface never works, doesn’t restart where you left off if you exit a playback, on and on. Good fucking riddance. Have to sift through endless tiles of bullshit soccer to get to anything. Just an embarrassing streaming experience.
