News Pacific Palisades fire in LA

This is true a crazy alternative should be fire fighting robots that can survive the winds and the heat this isn't as crazy a solution now that the technology exists. Darpa and anduril industries should work on this.

Yo @SKYNET when are going to make firefighting robots.

They're talking about running out of water. Better find a way to pump that shit out of the ocean

i keep reading here about insurance companies dropping coverage on homes just before this, so then are people suspecting arson? if not, i don't see how people could predict a natural disaster of this size at this exact time.

Didn't realize there are multiple fires spread out. Eaton Fire seems to be huge as well in the Pasadena area.

Is this an area of California that has regular large fires each year or is it not really known for fires?

Only houses in the mountains or hills catch on fire those of us that are inland in the concrete city dont catch on fire we just breathe in the dirty air and deal with ashes. Most of these houses belong to millionaires or at least upper middle class folk.

Probably started by some homeless fuckers like last time.
I bet it's a deliberate attack.

What are the odds that 5 fires all start at once in different locations all on the day with the highest winds.

California had trouble with fires but not usually in winter. This is crazy.

Some section of LA already has.

Pumping out of the ocean seems like a worthy idea, however there's not a single means to do it with any noteworthy volume without the means to transport the water to a wildfire.

Ya. Its fishy. The companies probably knew the hot dry winds were coming though. They made a calculated decision based on the potential scenarios.
Super sad for the families involved. Super upset with our state doing such a shitty job protecting and helping its citizens. So much money wasted could have helped minimize the effects on people’s lives.

Can they pump it out of swimming pools ? I mean it might be like pissing on a Forrest fire though.

First it was Hawaii, now its California, rich elites fire bombing the most desirable locations so they can snatch up the land cheap and rebuild their own newly gentrified paradise, this plan was launched in motion with ole Newscam putting thousands of small business owners outta business during Covid and this is the next step
