Was lucky enough to catch both Heaven and Hell with Dio and Ozzy's Blizzard of Ozz tours. Both of those albums are timeless classics, every song is a winner!

My 2 cents: no matter what, Ozzy was much better as lead singer in Sabbath and less as a solo act.
Period.

ALWAYS the ultimate showman, with and/or without Sabbath. Was lucky enough to see both Ozzy tours with Randy Rhodes - Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman - those 2 shows were spectacular, not a bad song on Either Album. Took my nephew to Ozzfests and saw a BUNCH of killer bands of his choice.

Ozzfests were such a great time and value back then. Saw so many bands that later became huge. Thanks Mom for taking me and my buddies when we were 13-15...and hanging out the whole show rocking out. She'd tell us to go look for merch or check out the other stages at times...pretty sure it was so she could smoke a joint.

Ozzy is complete and total fraud. His ''unique voice" is the result of a heavily delayed and reverbed phaser effect that is double with another singer. Always has.

He is would be nothing if it weren't for the musicians around him. He was BY FAR the least talented member of Black Sabbath, not just the original lineup but from beginning to end.

He is scumbag, the drugged out thing is a bit. It's it weird how he could barely string a sentence together, mumbling incoherently with every word sounding like a struggle, yet the second he starts to sing all of that goes out the window ?

The list of scumbag business moves from Sharon Osbourne is endless, Ozzy played up the brain dead routine so that he would never face the backlash for the evil predatory business practices that he and Sharon engaged in, but make no mistake he is fully complicit in all these things.

Dio was by far the better person and singer.

Musically: it's your opinion and I won't argue that.

However, I have witnessed ful blown dementia patients have complete clarity singing along to music they love, so Ozzy being a drugged out Alzheimers burnout off stage yet being on point with his music on is not far fetched based on my own experience. The brain is fucking weird when it comes to its parts.

sidenote it is so crazy that Sid Wilson's kid's grandfather is Ozzy Osbourne.
