physics that it will generate more heat. This is unavoidable, and offers zero bearing on "overheating".

He holds the SSD in his hand, and he comments that it's hot. I know you guys are console gamers, and don't know anything about hardware, but NVMe SSDs are not designed to be held in the hand immediately after use, LOL. That's like deciding to pick up and hold the CPU right after it's been running a benchmark. Even older Gen3 SSD will get up to and exceed the boiling point 100C (212F) under load.
