That's always a potential issue when you have a mesh top. However, to the XSX's advantage, it expels the air out of the top, so it's blowing any settled dust or particulates in the opposite direction. If you don't leave it sitting around turned off for half a year at a time I doubt there will be a problem.
This is pretty much exactly how my mini gaming PC works. It exhausts air out of the top. There's almost never any dust in that area of my PC. Its usually built up by the intake fans. ... but I wonder if Microsoft and Sony put a lot of pressure on their engineers to make a 4K 60FPS console, and bit off more than they can chew.
