I've condensed and shared more raw, objective information about both consoles informing the forum than any other Sherdogger. See the respective OPs of each thread.
We also have guys like @LuchaBear putting in serious work aggregating the most up-to-date newsbreaks via a sophisticated social media feed he's obviously built. Meanwhile, I fail to see what value has been added by any of the guys complaining about me who cry and wail because, for example, I have the gall to criticize a game that disallows offline play for single player mode. That criticism has enjoyed an uncontroversial consensus among gamers for nearly a decade, now, but the moment it becomes inconvenient to brand-based fanboyism, suddenly someone like me who espouses it is construed as a "troll".
Has any one of these posters contributed as much value to the forum in their entire posting histories as I have provided to gaming Sherdoggers who come here in this single 5-part OP?

The entire back and forth yesterday started because the mod with a god complex brought up PS in the Xbox thread, got called on it then started acting like a condescending know it all as usual, he literally started it.

Nobody does (or should) deny the value you put out in this forum.
For my money, you’re probably the single most useful member on this forum. And you know I always give you props for that.
That said, your viewpoint on Xbox isn’t objective and you are a fanboy.

It’s a sub forum about extracurricular activities in a forum about extracurricular activities. Nobody would care. You’re not a mod because you’re "impartial ".

You have the potential of being one of the best mods on this site if you’d just embrace it.
You’re obviously intelligent and you do have a helpful nature that comes through. Just tamp down the antagonism in your posts a bit and indulge your fun / meme side more.
I’m a Sony Fanboi. I think it’s the best.
My support isn’t regardless of whatever the company does and it might change but I don’t see that happening in the short or medium term.

The system feeling hot after prolonged usage doesn't really tell us anything. 60-80c feels pretty damn hot to the touch, and those are safe temps for current day PC hardware. We need actual temps before worrying about it.

Yea it's pretty much always like this. It's best to just sit back and laugh at all of it. I don't even know what I'm doing this gen I've hopped all over the place. Get a PS5? Get a 3080 and a PS5 3 years from now? Get both? I don't know. Guess will see what happens but looks like inventory is going to dictate what I do more than anything.
