Every fucking time I see one of these comparison videos I am trying so hard to notice the differences and I can’t find SSHHIIT!!!

If you ever gave me a blind test I’d be a pure guess every single time..

You can definitely notice a difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS, while playing..

I dont mind what FPS a game runs at as long as its consistent and stable. Frame drops are so damn noticeable to me, so much so that they give me headaches.

30 vs 60 is more noticeable for some than others, but when you start going from 30 to 120 (or even 60 to 120) you can tell a big difference.

Look at the slow motion comparison in full screen.

You can tell how smooth the 120fps is, with every frame being seen - where as even at 60fps, Witcher 3 is choppier. One might not notice on their console when they have nothing to compare it to, but once you personally experience stable 120fps with everything maxed out, it becomes a thing.

It's happened every year since BC became less of a norm. They need something to hype up, because their launch lineups are weak. Gamers also pretend to really really care about BC, when the reality is that they'll likely spend maybe 5% of their overall usage with the console on playing older games. It's a nice feature, but certainly not essential, given how badly the console with no BC this gen, beat the ever living shit out of the console that had it. It's like sprinkles on a sundae. Nice touch, but not really essential.

Not in this Xbox XSX thread. They be biggin it up like they just discovered the transistor radio.
The most essential feature.......ever.

To me it's easy to notice the difference between 30 and 60 fps. I want 60fps to be the norm since the hi-fi mode in the first Gran Turismo.

I honestly don't know how one cannot spot the difference lol

I addressed why it's being hyped up right now, but regardless...why does it bother you?

Nope. Sorry but this video is stupid IMO.

Watching the video when it was slowed down to 2x (so 60FPS vs 120 FPS down to 30 FPS vs 60 FPS) I still couldn't tell the difference. But when it was 4x then yes it looks choppy on the left screen but you've reduced the clip down to 15 FPS vs 30 FPS theoretically speaking. Of course you'll see a difference at 15 FPS...

That's been my point. I watched your video slowed down a 2x and I couldn't tell you which one was the slowed down 60 FPS or 120 FPS. They looked identical to me.

You can't see how choppy the camera movement or animations are compared to the 120/60 version in the slowed down version? To me, it looks like frames are missing.

Your video shows normal speed, then slowed 2x, then slowed down 4x per clips.

When it is slowed down 2x I cannot tell the difference... When it is slowed down 4x yes it looks choppy.. but again.. at 4x you're looking at a theoretical 15 FPS vs 30 FPS. I can see the choppiness there. But at 2x slowed down there is no difference. So comparing 30 FPS to 60 FPS or comparing 60 FPS to 120 FPS I can't tell at all.

edit.. made a mistake. your vid does not show 60 FPS vs 120 FPS at normal speed. I struck out the line....

it looks to me like you've also been fooled and cannot tell.

your video never shows 120 FPS vs 60 FPS.

The video are comparing slowed down version so you're watching:
30 FPS vs 60 FPS (the 2x clips) - can't tell any difference at all
15 FPS vs 30 FPS (the 4x clips) - choppy at 15 FPS

LOL.

Lol yep 60 to 120 I can’t tell a difference 30 to 60 I can though. I got a New monitor to get 144hz and I couldn’t tell the difference from my older 60hz monitor.

Yes, it's slowed down. But I'm surprised you can't tell the difference in the 2x clip.

Its just like every other video people have posted in here.. As I've stated 30 FPS vs 60 FPS looks no different to me at all and that's what that 2x clip represents...

I haven't played Fallout 4 because the framerate was so shitty so this is great news to me. I heard the DLC's are good. I've held off playing a whole bunch of games because they ran poorly on last gen consoles.

It's just a shitty launch lineup, it's not going to matter in the long term. I'd rather have a legit more powerful console now than wait until they have next-gen games considering how shitty the One is. Third party games exist as well too..
