The same terrible Chambers who easily subbed Esquibal. Somehow tells you she's laughably better than Kassem? Whitmire who's guaranteed to have a losing record in a few fights look how easy it was for Robertson to sub her. McCann with a huge weight advantage getting thrown down and sub with 0 defense by Robertson in the only fight she had outside the can circuit. All three are 2x worse on their back, atleast Kassem put up a struggle and against a better submission specialist too.

Thank you for that fine illustration of how stupid and pointless MMAth is. I guess Carlos Toyota is one of the greatest mixed martial artists to ever live, on account of "easily" knocking out Daiju Takase, and Takase in turn "easily" subbing Anderson Silva.

Also, Alex Chambers beating Esquibel (not "Esquibal"; some WMMA fan you are, continually getting names wrong) 6 years ago, in Esquibel's 4th pro fight, is hardly an indication of either fighter's skills today.

Callvillo and penne are easy to pick and cheer for.
Speak for yourself. I find both Casey and Esquibel to be far more likable as people and far more exciting as fighters.

Looking ahead a little if Amanda Nunes is retiring after her rumored fight with
Holly Holm who possibly could challenge for the Bantamweight title besides
Ketlen Vieira who is a presumed contender at 135 lbs.

you got me there I don't much care to spell check women's names who I argue are in the running for worst ufc fighter. you're right tho all them losses Esquibel piled up since shows she's improved.

And to think how Snarky you were about my analogy of conor, and you're comparing Esquibel to Anderson Silva.

I'll end here tho since you're dead set on this opinion and debates of the worst fighter is pretty pointless.

It's gonna be a dark time if she really does retire. There's also Ladd (probably needs one more big win), and even though I dislike her GDR.

We'll see how it shakes out. When a fighter suggests they'll retire I'm skeptical. Cormier said he'd retire at 40, now he's 40 & angling for another fight. Silva said at last week's weigh-ins he's retiring and post fight said he isn't lol.

Sorry again for the delay but finally caught up (sort of) on the results so far this year. Also did the upcoming fights for the weekend. Two of note...

  • Lower on the Friday Bellator card Tabatha Ann Watkins (3-0) will face Lindsey VanZandt (4-1) at atomweight. Assuming neither is signed with Bellator so winner moves up in the atomweight rankings and could be a future Invicta signee.
  • Over in Russia Sunday, Liliya Shakirova (6-1) and Mariya Agapova (6-0) are battling at flyweight.

Glad to see you’re back at it. A couple of notes:
You missed on of the fights at ONE this Saturday: https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/56778-one-championship-clash-of-legends

Also, January 26th, Road FC was an amateur event, so the fight is the wrong color.

Disagree with the comparison of Montana De La Rosa to Joseph Stalin. They didn't fight in the same promotion.
<Wink>

Invicta has kind of crept up on us, choosing Porto, Dudieva, Maverick, Cortez, Kolesnyk, Leonardo, King and Sammons .... some of those fights are toss-ups though.

Invicta note: the first four fights will be free to view on Facebook.

Man, why can't we get a great writer like that at Sherdog?

Someone try asking the mods...

I would say That Hansen is showing a lack of experience with her words here, because this could easily happen in mma as well. Also, maybe stop taking every short notice Fight that comes your way.

Now, this isn’t a bashing post, and it sucks to lose out on oppurtunities, but a week to sign a bout agreement? Seems pretty normal. Methinks she’s been a little coddled having had all but one of her fights in Invicta.

Agree. I have no idea how she will handle things should she move up and shit takes months to get settled.
