I just want to say that despite the rough start, I'm REALLY excited about this contest. I could really use this motivation to work on my squat. It's kind of embarrasing that I can't hit 405 yet, it's equally embarrasing I can't close the three or bend the red. Do you guys think that KTA, Heavy bending, and the smolov all at the same time might be too much?

Urban I have the same problem. Just focus on 1 thing or you'll burn out. Heavy bending is equivalent to heavy deadlifting...this is why I could never progress much without burning out...ditto for grippers...
I have noticed for me intermittent heavy training on grippers and bending produced the best results...
I am lucky if I can bend a blue now...plus I can only bend DU....DO has pwned me...I can barely bend a green DO...makes no fucking sense.....
