RBR ***Official*** Sherdog Sanctioned The Ring IV: Benavidez vs. Yarde 11/22 3PM ET (DAZN)

I think he looked anything but sensational in his last fight and the one before. However, he did look dominant this time around. Do I think that he could do this to Beterbiev or Bivol? No. I still think that Bivol outboxes him rather comfortably and Beterbiev clips him in a fire fight and puts him away.
Benavidez looked fine vs Gvozdyk, just slowed down from a hot 8 round start in my memory, learning experience, and the Morrell fight was him humbling a confident lion, and pretty easily outside a possible slip ruled KD.

Hope to see Benavidez - Beterbiev. I think Benavidez is a favorite over most cruiserweights not named Bivol. Not sure about Beterbiev as he is getting older, but can still crack hard and fight hard all 12 rounds.

Not sure where you're getting this from. Why doesn't Benavidez offer Artur a title shot instead of talking about moving up to cruiser to fight Zurdo a guy that Bivol already dominated?

Beterbiev pulled out of the undercard fight. Ask him what he's doing. He has nothing to offer david now. Zurdo has 2 belts. Learn boxing.

I think he looked ordinary at best against a guy that had been knocked into retirement for several years. Morrell just got a gift decision in his last fight against some Russian prospect so I don't rate him at LHW. Got outlanded and dropped.

I just think Benavidez needed to acclimate to the weight, his power was effective tonight and his speed made him pretty unstoppable when he wanted to be. It’ll be a dog fight, him and Beter.

His power looked decent but he's still not a natural puncher at this weight. It looked forced as usual. Yarde had been stopped before a couple times and he always fades mid-fight so I don't think he's the best barometer to judge power against.

So it can be speed vs power, it’s just the fight I think fans want.

What does a beltless 41 year old coming off a loss have to offer David now?
Well, for starters he's done 10x more in the division and is still ranked higher despite not holding a world title anymore. He also stopped Yarde long before Benavidez did, not to mention stopped Gvozdyk who your boy couldn't put away.

Let's try again. What does he have to offer?

rating? lol. How is he rated higher when David belt and he don't?
By having done a lot more in the division, becoming undisputed recently, and beating better opposition regularly. You seem to forget that 2 of Benavidez's 3 wins at LHW are Artur's sloppy seconds. Guys can get belts a number of ways. It doesn't necessarily mean anything. What matters is who you beat and when you beat them.

So he has a ranking to offer David (lol), while Zurdo has 2 belts in another division. What do you think is more valuable?

Oh now that Benavidez is in the division there's no reason to fight Beterbiev, sure.
What a dumbass take. That fight would be huge. But i think Beterbiev might be injured again.

Or Turki wants to set up a trilogy with Bivol. But either way Beterbiev has the resume and body of work that dwarfs anything Benny has ever done

that was a manly fight. these guys went at it, hard. very entertaining, a proper, hard-nosed scrap.

as expected, yarde put up a solid performance up until the point he was broken. seems to be the recurring theme for benavidez fights.

Has Zurdo ever been P4P rated? Has he ever been undisputed? Is he a future first-ballot HOFer? Beterbiev can claim all of these things. Get a clue.

Zurdo gets underrated by alot of people.
His cruiserweight run right now is good. Smith, Arsen, CBS, and Dorticos.
The CBS win is a very good solid win.

His run at 168 was decent. The Hart wins and the win over Arbraham.
Has he been P4P top 10? No, but hes been either the #1 or top #3 guy in 3 different divisions for the last 10 years. 168, 175, and 200lbs. While being a champion in two of them for multiple years.
He beats Jai and becomes undisputed...its gonna be hard to deny him his due.
