Summed it up well here.

No mocking, but the man is clearly unfit. He actually reminds me of my grandfather leading up to his death. I always said that every year after 80 is like an extra decade in decline.

You can be absolutely perfect up until that point, but once you cross that threshold, it's over.

He needs to be replaced.
Yeah it's dishonest and stupid to say otherwise. It's also a betrayal of our country in favor of party and I just can't relate to it.

I hate Trump and I want to beat him but we got to beat him with somebody that can run the country safely.

We can't just whistle in the dark as bad as we may want to.

To be honest, a government ran by veteran bureaucrats while a senile old man is being trotted out for the public appearances, is probably the safest, most stable type of government there is.

It's the charismatic individuals who may bring either glory or doom.

That brings me some comfort but it's only one possibility. There's just so many ways it could go...

Bottom line for me. I don't want to know that when the football needs to be used at 2:00 a.m. that some unnamed group of people is in charge of that. No way should the leader of the Free world have that kind of leadership.

Trump was far more coherent but he hardly won, he continually lied during the debate, didn't answer questions & didn't outline policy.
People expected Trump to be awful. He doesn't know anything and as you said, is a liar, which Republicans are fine with. Biden is actually being held to some minimal standard by Democrats now...the standard of "ok, you're clearly past it and way too fucking decrepit"...with Trump there are no standards, even his voters know he is and expect him to be a shitbag liar who doesn't know anything about policy.

This is not far off from my thinking, after all we're not voting for a president who has to lead a river crossing like George Washington.

That kind of double standard is what makes me take the criticisms of Biden less seriously. The guy is a convicted felon and I don't think there was anywhere near the same kind of discourse about him stepping down.

quick reminder that the DISASTER going on right now of inflation, open border, crime, and less rights will continue right as planned under the next fuckface democrat that gets in office.

He's a convicted felon! LOL...you guys love to say that even though everyone and their mother knows it was a completely false conviction that means fuck all. He could have ran a stop sign 20 years ago, and the shitbags in NYC would have found a way to make him a convicted felon because of it.

The best part about Trump's impending win is the suffering it will cause leftists. You all deserve every single day of the 4 more years you're going to get.

it's real. how much more SHIT will they serve you cultists before you finally snap out of it and leave the cult?

You're right I will dismiss it because it comes off as bad faith, just something to say when you prefer not to address what I said and instead prefer to try to dissect the psychology behind it. Most within his party are worried about his electability. Its true some are genuinely worried about his cognitive function but at the same time many voters are also worried about Trump's criminality and yet I don't see anywhere near as much talk about Trump stepping down. It reeks of double standards really.

I am the 59%.

I feel I absolutely addressed what you said. And we all "disect the psychology" behind each other's posts nonstop. What you said rings hollow in terms of seeing Joe that way and saying it's just "normal aging and sleepiness". I suppose if you've never been around elderly people you could think him blankly staring with his mouth open and being unable to finish sentences as that (normal signs of aging). But since I've actually been around people Joe's age and the only ones I've ever seen be like that have dementia...there's not much else to say.

Frankly, it doesn't even matter if it's dementia or not. He is impaired by his age and that's all we need to know.

We have lost our way if we're going to lower the standards so much as to allow the state Biden is in to be okay.

No. It was pretty clear, he falsified business records to hide hush money payments to a porn star. Evidence against him included the testimony of the porn star who got paid; testimony from his own lawyer that he made the hush money payments; testimony from the Editor of the National Inquirer who took the money in exchange for squashing the story; numerous financial statements that show these payments moving between the parties; and numerous texts/emails that detail exactly why Cohen is paying the hush money to the tabloid.

If you want to be taken seriously, refute any of that. If you can't, go cry in the corner in silence. Don't bother the rest of us with your whining.

I agree with you. Biden shat the bed, I've said this throughout the thread. Didn't mean to rhyme, but I guess it was just time.
I'm sorry... :(

We deserved that apology.

That was far better than Julio Foolio rap lyrics.

An no, that's not a compliment.

Its like being told you smell far better than shit.

Tricky. Satan's Jacked and has better songs - sorry, Herr Wagner - but Hitler's fashion Swag is Over 9,000. And I just get lost in his eyes...😍

Joking aside: absolutely nothing you or I or anyone else can do will change the Two Party System. It's locked down tighter than the Epstein Client List. Vote for a third party candidate if you want but it will have as much impact on reality as my disturbing fantasies involving Sydney Sweeny*

*Which is a good thing, of course. The poor girl's done nothing to deserve that.
You've put the cart before the horse. The two part system can be beaten quite simple; people just have to vote for the candidates and policies they agree with rather than just trying to be on the side of who they think will win.

If the Republicans and Democrats are taking their bribes....er.... "campaign contributions" from the same sources, it should be no surprise how similar their platforms are..... Especially when it comes to foreign policy.

Rejecting both is about rejecting the donor class behind the candidates. It's about rejecting the establishment of both parties who, more often than not, agree on policy issues.

Keep voting for these two corrupt and morally bankrupt parties of you want to. But don't sit there wondering why the country keeps going down the toilet. I won't. From 2016 forward, I've decided not to vote for any candidate i disagree with on the most important issues.

I would rather abstain from voting than legitimize a system that has been corrupted and rigged to benefit only the political class and their donors at the expense of the working middle class and the working poor.

Hillary falsified the same documents in the same exact way. She marked the payment for the generation of the Steele dossier as "legal expenses."

She got a 100k fine and was never charged with a crime, let alone a felony for what should be a misdemeanor.

With Trump, they charged it as a felony so they could circumvent an expired statute of limitations.

Let's also consider the harm done by both of their intfractions:

Hillary paid for the creation of the Steele dossier and lied about not knowing the origin. This lead to 5 years of bullshit narratives about the POTUS being a Russian plant, having a pee tape or there and constant distractions from governing to deal with absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary FBI and congressional investigations.

Hillary did far more harm than Trump with the same exact infraction (down to the mislabeling of "legal expenses") but want charged with a crime.

Trump is fighting a federal and state coordinated lawfare attack and the whole country sees it.

Throwing my vote away would be continuing to vote for bought off political parties. Nothing will get better as long as people keep doing this.

The uniparty will feel no compulsion to serve the public if they know they can spend their terms enriching themselves and their donors and the public will just keep voting them back in.

However, if they at least feel the threat of the public voting them out, they will have to start representing the people if for no other reason than self preservation.
