Just cleared out biomes 4, 5 and 6 again along with the final boss and only found one fragment. What a ripoff.

I ran one of those biomes almost 20+ times for one of the fragments. It was very VERY annoying.

Not sure but it was long ago. The fucker wouldn’t drop no matter how many times I ran it. Well it felt like it.

How bad is the platinum? I see people complaining all the time about not being able to find weapon traits.

not that hard at all. Unlocking all the weapon traits is not part of the platinum (even though it should IMO). The hardest is finding all the cryptic messages, xenoglyph cyphers, and all the logs i think.

If you want a personal accomplishment then unlocking all the weapon traits is the ultimate accomplishments IMO. But that will require a LOT of runs. There used to be a cheese in biome 6 where the containment room would re-activate if you left the room and re-entered. So with the right perks to re-heal yourself you could farm the room, the weapons and all the perks. But they patched it. But that was fun as hell. I'd have 40+ weapons lying haphazardly everywhere. Or i'd move them out of the room and stack them. Crashed the game once or twice from having so many weapons around.

PS. Ah i remember how i used to mass level up the weapon perks. In biome 6, make sure don't have any shield breaking abilities and just farm the the little octopuses (or whatever) that spawn from those giant pods. Find a pod that is shielded so you aren't worried about killing it and just keep on killing those little shits till you level up your weapon perks.. ALL OF THEM!

Just beat Hyperion!

Easily my fave boss showdown. Turning around mid-fight to rock hard on the organ, then volleying Rubik's Cube patterns at me was so gangster. F, that was cool.

Spent about an hour in biome 5 and suspended cycle to walk my dog (my trusty copilot) and take care of some stuff. Will return tonight. Craziest unlock I had was full auto for thermogenic. Holy laser balls, Batman. That thing just pummels now like Sabin from Final Fantasy VI.

I never let myself look at trophies on maiden playthroughs because I like to experience everything raw but I've long had a feeling this game would make for a painful Plat. After beating, will be having a look-through myself to size things up. Last Plat for me was a couple months ago w/ Tails of Iron so I'm due a good bleed.

Steam says I'm only at 55% completion so still lots to do but I haven't looked through all the trophies in detail yet. Should be fun as long as it's reasonable.

That room below the biome 4 boss is a good spot to farm roots for obolite. The organ music actually makes it enjoyable.

Maybe it’s bad luck but obolite drops from roots/vines have been breadcrumbs for me, yielding maybe 3-6 per room. Unless I’m missing something, I’ve a hard time willing to grind that out. I wish they weren’t such a stingy resource.

You only get a few per root but it does add up after a while. I farmed about 1k in an hour or so yesterday. Used the sword and just rotated between three spots with teleporters. T3, T5 and T7. That way they have time to respawn.

Also don't forget about the statues that have yellow glowing eyes, it varies how much you get when you destroy then but always handy

Same with the walls with red poking through, a few of them always house some sort of goodies after you've broken them

Yea this was also my favorite level\boss in the game. Finding out that the music was the boss playing it the whole time was amazing. Getting louder and louder the closer you got.

Use a dreadbound if you can find one. Easier than the sword and seems to drop more obolite.

Yes use dreadbound. Makes farming obolites super easy. Walking over the vines gives the least. They have to be shot.
