If I try the tower DLC, will I be importing new enemies and items into the main game?

Not sure. I finished everything before the DLC released. I think there are weapons u can get there that u cannot get in the main campaign but it’s not many. Give it a go. The tower is fun .

Might try it then. I beat biome 3 so I'm getting new weapons and traits to upgrade now.

The story is so vague and bizarre. It's great. I have no idea what's going on so it really enhances the atmosphere and mental breakdown your character is going through.

Thanks. Yeah that area was fun having to grapple hook your way around. Boss was pretty cool too. But then I died in biome 4 so back to the ship I go lol

Can't wait to finish the game so I can dive into the story more. I have some suspicions about what might be going on but I'm probably wrong.

Biome 4 is fucked. Lasers everywhere. Those flying things that shoot little red blobs that explode into laser rings are especially annoying.

But it looks like the big door stays open once you find the two keys at least.

I ran through Biome 4 with ease. I thought it was one of the easier Biomes personally. I remember as I was going through it, if it was just some sort of interlude after Biome 3 lol.

I was having an easy time with Biome 4 overall but I died at the very last room for the very last key I needed. I was so pissed. Those teleporting guys are a bitch. After that I got my spiderweb gun and literally just never stopped moving and shooting those webs everywhere. Slowly killing them. I got to aggressive the first time around and they got me.

The thing about 4 is you have base health, no artifacts or parasites and the starting pistol with no traits until you can find another weapon. So the first few arenas with all the damn turrets are brutal.

Didn’t read it; I do it and all the time, ha, especially with the Hollowseeker, iirc. I’m confused what I’m doing but I associate green in sci-fi settings with a debuffing acid or decay.

Apparently. I honestly didn't even know this was a thing in Returnal. I would have worked on trying to get it. Having damage being done to the enemy while you can focus on dodging all the craziness around you really helps in this game.

So made it to biome 5 and got excited when I saw the reconstructor in the first room so grabbed it and then proceeded to die in the very first arena lol

Then died again in another room to the first severed I ran into. So back to the ship we go. Not sure I'm going to like this biome.

Biome 5 is nuts, especially the containment room. How are you supposed to clear that?

Finally beat Ixion last night, guys. Bled for it in phase 3.

Spent an hour after working my way through third biome and had a lot of fun. I was holding 800+ obolites though at time of death with nowhere for a long while to spend; could have made a major difference for me to have picked up some goodies.

This game has taken years to like for me because of its design (O, you having fun? Nah. *SMACK Ah, you enjoying it again? FU. *SMACK) but from the atmosphere alone, I always knew I was on the outside looking in at a masterpiece.

Going to have another session tonight and try to make inroads in new biome.

I spend mine on the reconstructor in each biome if I can find it. And also that device by the ship, at least until it started costing 10 ether per item. That thing unlocks items that can be randomly found during your runs.
