With this re-focused approach, Neon Koi will close, and its mobile action game will not be moving forward. I want to express my gratitude to everyone at Neon Koi for their hard work and endless passion to innovate.

Regarding Firewalk, as announced in early September (An Important Update on Concord), certain aspects of Concord were exceptional, but others did not land with enough players, and as a result we took the game offline. We have spent considerable time these past few months exploring all our options.

After much thought, we have determined the best path forward is to permanently sunset the game and close the studio.   I want to thank all of Firewalk for their craftsmanship, creative spirit and dedication.

Well I think we all knew this was likely to happen but still sucks to see this. Hopefully Sony goes back to it's bread and butter and only buying studios they have a working relationship with.

I remember rumors of Jim Ryan being forced out I don't know if that's true or but if it is I suspect it's because of things like this. Both Bungie and Firewalk were purchased without ever working with Sony and they were both a disaster.

Bungie at least has a chance to turn it around and the artwork from Marathon looks amazing. Bungie with proper management could actually turn into a really good purchase.

I’m confused as hell by this. I have a couple of plates for my launch PS5, does this mean those won’t fit either? I didn’t realize slim plates were a different size.

There you go. I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be compatible but still, feels like another cheap move from Sony.

I would say it's a cheap move but I honestly don't know how hard it would have been to make it compatible. The internals are going to be different and they might not have had any other choice.

If with the Pro came form factor accommodations for power, cooling and such, this tracks and isn’t something I’d put under anti-consumer. If they freely chose to size plates differently, that would suck and I agree re greedy. Sony still the top gaming experience but I do get Apple vibes, directionally.

Well if that's the case it is shitty but not exactly surprising. Like @Gingerdead Man Sony has been showing Apple vibes for a while now. With that said we see their revenue\profits. It's not like they are making money hand over fist over there so it's hard for me to call them greedy when the profits are so low.

First, its an action-RPG style from what I've seen. I'm sure someone thats played it will confirm this.

Second, I've recently (last few years) became a fan of turn based strategy games like X-Com2, Wasteland3, Gears of War Tactics, and Baldur's Gate 3 and can tell you you're missing out on some great games.

By the way, if its possible for anyone to download these Digital Foundary videos at full resolution & 60FPS and watch it on your HDTV you usually play games on I highly recommend it as a preview of the quality difference between the PS5 Quality & Performance modes and the PS5pro.

I've watched that FF7 Rebirth video and currently watching this video and its converted me into absolutely buying a PS5pro eventually.



Watching them on your phone doesn't do it justice.
