Everything will be going up soon. Consoles will be the least of our worries. Anyway glad I got a PS5 Pro. Looking like a better investment these days. PS6 may take an additional year to release with all this chaos in the economy. Companies may want to wait out things.

I’ve played hundreds of hours of Hunt but no Tarkov.

In Hunt, we do extract weapon variants, bounties et cetera. In true extraction fashion, we also have an extraction subgame with recon to figure out enemy exfil, ambush, booby-trapping whatnot. Hunt has a pretty strict (read; judgmental) culture on dos and don’ts, which pushes newer players away unfortunately but, flip side, comes with the depth of knowledge for ‘good friction’ that Shroud mentions.

I’ve long likened Dark Zone play from Division to be an extraction metagame, really. You’ve played that, right?

I've heard about the Divisions dark zone but unfortunately never got to play it. I did play the division for a bit but never even got close to max level.

Hopefully this game does a beta as I'd like to try it. Hunt was ok but I didn't like the gun play really and it just seemed to slow overall. This game looks faster paced which I would like in a game like this.

Anyone else going pick this game up next month? It's from the creators of Lost in Random. It's one of those rare hybrid games that can be both played on PSVR2 or just flat screen. May is already stacked but I'm not sure I can pass this one up, looks like my kind of thing since I love horror.

You got me thinking I should pick up a Pro now too. I'm still on vanilla 5. It's maybe naïf of me to think I won't pay more the longer I wait.

Me too. What they’re showing right now is pre-alpha build, too. I’m excited, TBH. They’re going avant-garde and trying for something unique. The setting looks Cyberpunky.

Yea I've been watching more deep dives about the game and it's mechanics and I want to try it out. I honestly need a new MP game that I can play by myself. With my friends I'm down to play pretty much anything but they aren't always on when I am.

The only negative so far that I've heard is that there is seasonal wipes and honestly I've never been a fan of seasonal wipes in any game. You get to keep all your cosmetics but I don't know if that's enough for me. Then again in OW (my last go to MP game) there was no real progression at all so it's not like I really need a progression system to begin with.
