By the way, if its possible for anyone to download these Digital Foundary videos at full resolution & 60FPS and watch it on your HDTV you usually play games on I highly recommend it as a preview of the quality difference between the PS5 Quality & Performance modes and the PS5pro.

I've watched that FF7 Rebirth video and currently watching this video and its converted me into absolutely buying a PS5pro eventually.



Watching them on your phone doesn't do it justice.

They used to offer the raw video files for download on their website but it might be only patreon only now, was great for when they did HDR comparisons

Shame the Slitterhead reviews are pretty poor. Probably won't pick it up and wait for a big discount. I like the team behind it and it looks unique enough but dropping 45 bucks when I have other stuff to play seems kind of stupid. Might be for the best.

People who bought one seem very happy on Twitter and Reddit. Just looked around for about 15 minutes. It’s not a new gen console which means there are no games which you can’t play on the base PS5. That’s probably the main reason there isn’t the same hype level as there will be for PS6 which will most likely have a big game release. Now might be the time to buy one though. Rumor is consoles will have a big tariff slapped on them making it over 1 grand plus tax.

The design is worlds better than the original. It’s smaller and way lighter. That’s about all the impressions I have right now lol.

I still haven't went to get mine. Canceled my direct order since I can just go trade it in at gamestop. I was going to sell it on FB MP but I only got responses from some of the most hood looking profiles and I decided it wasn't worth $50 over possibly getting jumped.

I did, just hadn’t slapped it on.

Swapped in the SSD too so I’ve got a cool 3TB now.

Damn that’s a ton of space. 1tb was working for me but a bit more would have been nice. 2tb should be more than enough.

Did you have to do any reformatting or anything or was it as easy as simply physically swapping them and everything previously stored on it was still there and ready to go as though you were still using your old PS5?
