30 FPS lock? Ouch, man... WTF. Lack of performance modes in 2024 should be met with tar and feathering.

Well actually I read that they’re targeting 30 fps now so I was wrong about it being locked. Hopefully there’s an official statement because not sure where the original source came from besides watching frame drops in trailers

I had no idea that San Diego Studio was making a 3rd person action game. That's awesome. I think it's been a few years since they've done anything other than The Show.

They nailed the cape physics; you could feel those mammoth terrestrial drones right up on you when fleeing. Again, wow, this looks super fun. Pod deployment looks and sounds awesome too. Weapon audio FX were a concern for me so this without v/o narration or some strange house music was ideal to assuage those fears. These crackhead-movement screen interactions for code arm/disarm or whatever and Japanese vending machine sounds, I don't know about that though because you probably do this multiple times per mission, lol. Didn't like the reticle designs I saw either.

Well had to buy a new ps5. Power supply change did not work.

The slim model is much smaller than I expected. Online people acted like it was barely that much smaller but it’s a pretty noticeable difference imo.

Already put in a claim with my insurance at this point. See if I can get any money back.

Just learnt Hellivers 2 has teamkill or in other words, active friendly fire. With how chaotic screens get especially with the particle system for enemy bug, Xenomorph splatter, not sure how I feel about that. Hope it's a modifier we can turn inactive.

Sea of Thieves was another one heavily hinted at too. Hi-Fi Rush is also supposed to release on Switch too (theres shirts incoming on an update based on PS and Switch)

What does he mean by "given its strategy"? Wasn't MS hinting at more exclusivity just a little while ago? When did they do a 180?

Not sure but I'm guessing recently. Seeing as in some countries their consoles are selling poorly, might as well make money porting to other platforms that can be purchased in those lower performing countries.

They can keep the Xbox consoles as the Home of Gamepass along with PC and just sell games on other platforms

Sounds like they're giving up on the console wars if this ends up being true. That could be good or bad depending on how much Playstation decides to abuse their dominance.

You might be right. MS and PS have been pretty adversarial the last few years so this would be surprising.

I think this might of come from above Phil Spencer (Phil's also been very open that he does own a PS5 and plays on it from time to time)
