Triss. Bang her in the lighthouse. Reload your save keep banging Yen.

Treat yourself.
<cagebelieve><mma4>

I kissed her during the party after I'd banged Yen at Skellige. Then I told her to stay when the ship was leaving but it was too late. Yen also teleported me to the river after she found Triss's hair at Kaer Morhen lol.

W3 is showing it's age in a few minor ways, but simply put, it's one of the ten or so best games I've ever played. I love it. I don't play it often since it's such a daunting task trying to get anything done as the depth is insane, but I do keep going back to it, just like I do with CP2077.

At least I bought new computer gear at black Friday. Means my rig can better handle the updated version. And should be decent with W4.

Though I think i might not have played it on my 3600 and 6700xt which I only had for like 3 years.

forgot i bought the next gen version on steam. god damn it. my backlog can only take so much. i havent played for a couple years and i could always go for another runthrough.

I guess I should add Witcher 3 to games I keep going back to. I started it up again last night for the first time since the "Next Gen" update came out.

I played it for a while then, but the performance was too spotty, and I eventually stopped. Now it's running really well, and being able to max everything, it looks freaking gorgeous still. it's showing its age in some areas, but it's still pretty remarkable, especially with next to no loading screens and details galore. I wish CDPR stuck with this engine.

For PC players, You have to force anisotropic filtering in Nvidia (AMD equivalent) settings, otherwise it's a shimmering mess with Ray tracing.

I know combat isn't considered a strong point in this game, but I always loved it. I normally prefer action RPG's with a controller, but W3 just feels better with M&K, especially if you bind the spin key to space bar. It's a great dance!

It's been a while, but It looks like they added a bunch of new skills and quests?

I forget how it works? I started it up again, and already have a save post Unicorn sex with Yen. Can we still bang Triss and do the Last Wish mission with Yen? asking for a friend...

I've posted my opinion about the Heart of Stone expansion a few times over the years in The Arcade...like how you get practically no XP, the story is quite linear besides The Heist, and there's only two endings and one is too clearly made to be the canon ending.

However, this new mod made from unreleased assets from the original production may have added a bit of depth to the endings.

Very much recommended to check this out -

If you're looking for a build to make Death March easy, I highly endorce this video.

At the very start of the game you can only cast a sign every 10 seconds.

With this build, you'll be able to blast Igni, use Quen & Yrden each twice, and takes a second and a half for your meter to build back up to use them again.

Perfect offense - Igni.
Perfect defense - Quen.
Perfect offense & defense - Yrden.

Basically makes the vast majority of all combat encounters a joke.

So with this build I knew the real test would be the bosses in Heart of Stone, which at best take me a few 3 to 5 attempts, and at worst many more than that.

Frog Prince - Beat him on my 1st attempt.
Ofering Mage - Beat him on my 1st attempt.
Gravedigger - Beat him on my 1st attempt.
Spirit in the paintings - Beat him on my 1st attempt.
Worst Nightmare - Beat him on my 2nd attempt.

All on Death March difficulty.
No question that build is the most effective in the game, and it doesn't even use potions or concoctions for anything else but healing.

Would like to update this by saying every single time I've played through NewGame+ I've had to abandon my GrandMaster Armor quickly because the scaling of the Lvl50+ enemies were quite tough, both offensively and defensively.

But with this build, I played through the entirety Velen & Skellege quite easy. Only as I'm beginning Novigrad have I upgraded my swords.

By the way, the Heart Of Stone nunesmith?
On previous playthroughs I had major difficulty getting one ingredient he needed.... the jade in the cave full of spiders... to the point I lowered the difficulty to easy. This build makes that all too easy now, even at a very low level for that quest on DeathMarch difficulty.

So if you've played through Witcher3 before and want to try it on the hardest difficulty, that build is without question the best.

Thought this was worth reposting in the W3 thread from the W4 thread.

I played through W3 on Death March difficulty and that build made it easy.

If you're considering playing W3 again to prepare for the possible new expansion, or W4, would you rather play it exactly the same way you did before....possibly multiple times... Or another way that you're an absolute boss?

Nice to have you back, @GearSolidMetal. You're an awesome poster.
