Oooof, that looks terrible.

I went back and watched both Trailers 1 & 2 for GTA V and those trailers are straight trash compared to Trailers 1 & 2 of GTA 6. These trailers are great. The world looks great. The V map was actually quite shit. A tiny ass potion dedicated to a halfassed version of LA. And then the rest of it (3/4 of the entire thing) is a bunch of desert crap. What a damn shame. From what we've seen of 6 map, it looks a hell of a lot bigger and a hell of a lot more varied.

Looks good to me. Just sucks its been delayed again, sigh.

I read something that said the single player game is basically finished. The delay is entirely for GTA Online. They want it to be perfect this time around. I guess when Online dropped for V it had a bunch of glitches and stuff right out of the gate. They want to avoid that this time.

That said, hopefully for a $1+ Billion game, they're working their magic. I'd be satisfied with a 45FPS mode.

It might have been a part of the same thing I read above, but not 100% of the budget is going towards the single player game. A huge portion of it is going to online. I never played GTA V Online so I don't know anything about it or why it'd need such a huge budget but that's what it sounds like. What a travesty as I spend my time exclusively in single player.

Imagine what this game would be like if 100% of that $2 Billion dollar budget went to the single player game itself. It'd be 20x bigger and better than it already is.

I played RDR2 I think last year. I fucking loved it. Really excited about this.

I'll say this, they haven't skimped on the production values. Holy shit, that looks insanely detailed.

That said, I'm not feeling a distinct vibe with this one. The others had like a very distinct identity from the first trailers. Whether it was the city vibes or the characters. It felt like it had a focus. This seems kind of...bland? You got the Vice City setting, but it's in modern times, so what's the point? The two main characters don't exactly jump off the screen either.

Eh', we'll see.

Rockstar will usually place all pertinent social stuff in their games. As long as they don't try to direct the player one way or the other this isn't an issue. If they make it so you can run over everything except a Pride flag then that would be bad

Best physics by far. Everything has real weight to it, and the NPC's generally have more realistic reactions to everything, as they all have hitboxes for individual limbs and react accordingly. It makes all the chaos that much better. It has a really good and focused story too. That said, it's not the best one. They stripped down a lot of features from the previous games, and it's pretty bare bones in terms of gameplay options. Lots of driving, lots of shooting, and that's about it. The graphics are fine, but showing their age too. The environments have a very washed out and muddy look to them. At least in the vanilla version. If you're on PC, mods can fix that problem.

GTA V is probably the best one overall. It brought back all the gadgets and whatnot, and it's a more complete experience.

Yeah, that seems to be the norm for them. It is weird how they always initially duck out on PC. Not that they need the money, but they're leaving a lot of money on the table.

Specs of the pre-built you posted yesterday is basically top of the line. Only the 8+ core X3D CPU's are better, an they are only slightly better. But not $230 more better over the 9800X3D. Purely specs wise. That rig should run any game comfortably till 2029.

Just remember Pc release date for GTA6 hasnt been announced.

IT is much better though. Yes there is the law of diminishing returns. But look at these side by sides even if "it is just little things" they add up and it is much better.

Watch Trailer 1 & 2 of V and then watch Trailer 1 & 2 of 6. It's night and day.
