Would you pay $100 for a game?

In the mid 90's it was common to pay $50 for a game.... that's well over $100 in 2025 dollars.

Those games were worth it and they weren't released broken needing updates from the get go and trying to rip you off nickel and diming you for content that should have already been included.

honestly, this pisses me off all the time. i don't buy new games because where i live theyre usually $79.99, add taxes, and most come out to $90. i won't pay it. the only game ive had new was cyberpunk, and a friend bought it for me, i wasnt paying $90 for a digital copy of a game. i suppose i also got that forgotten kirby land game new, but that too was a gift. im just too stingy.

ill play gta6 when they release a new gen console, maybe even two years after that lol.

lol fair enough. gta is the closest i get to feeling that hype, but i know how i am. ill blow that money, play a couple days, then take a break for a few months, come back and forget how to play . . . yeah. i still havent beat 5 lmao. i replay vice city a lot tho.

I havent beat 5 either hahaha but i dont regret the money. It's still mine.

But with 4 I not only bought it i didnt even have an xbox, i bought an xbox just so i could play gta 4 and i played the shit out of it ( i was still in my 20s)

Doom eternal came out in 2020 and covid hit at that exact time, so it was well worth it for me to get it soon as it came out and i played the shit out of it.


GTA5 eh. It's not in NYC so not as good lol

The new DOOM I know i will play it until i beat it.
