Game looks excellent and the reviews upped my hype for this. Apparently the main knock is the difficulty isn't really there but once you get to an area that is tough it's almost too tough lol. If that's the main complaint then sign me up. I could use a chill game when I'm not playing Cyberpunk which I just started.

Will be avoiding the thread until I complete it. There will be a lot of neat cameos that are probably best to be discovered on my own. Stoked that it got great reviews. Now is the time to speak with your wallet and buy this game. Don’t ignore it and complain when they don’t make more games like this. Time to send a message

Yeah same here, I just popped in to see if other posters have given a score yet. Mine is being delivered now so will jump in as soon as I’ve finished work. I loved the free one so seeing the scores it’s getting I can’t wait. I did catch a spoiler about one level that I really wish I’d discovered myself because it’s fucking awesome.
I also treated myself to the Asto themed controller

Buying it today, making surprise to my woman who fallen in love at first sight as soon showed her the trailer
Not counting getting new Street Fighter contents that ever get my instant hype, was a while i was'nt that excited to play something and i'm including big titles, like it's month i got gifted FF16 and still did'nt bothered start it even if i'm sure i will like it... while legit can't wait be at home tonight to play this shit
Hope this get huge success and Sony start invest into give me more Nintendo-like fun colourful stuff

Picked it up right after work. Once I got home I let my son get first dibs. It looks so damn fun. Can't wait to start my own file once he's done. Seems like he's gonna hog it through. Gonna have to game when he's in school lol.

Played for about an hour and a half with my kids tonight. Just as much fun as I was expecting. Finished the Gorilla Nebula or whatever it was called, the first area with about 5 or 6 planets.

Every part of this game is great. From the gameplay to the controls to the sound to the music to the use of haptics, it’s just so well made. Anyone could enjoy it but the love letter to PlayStation takes it to another level for those that grew up with it.
I’ve only played through the first area but I didn’t want to put it down. Seriously looking forward to what else it has in store.

correction, this may be the best platformer EVER
i only bought a PS5 last week after nabbing GT7 for a tiny price, so i figured my son probably wouldnt be best pleased if im on his PS5, played through Astros Playroom and di this yesterday, best money i have ever spent in my life
