Social Obama Taking His Final Vacation as POTUS

It's funny how you post a picture of Bill Clinton getting fast food after having clearly been doing cardio. You know Trump can't walk 200 yards, much less go for a light jog without a pulmonary "episode", yet still make the equivalence. Lol.

Bill was also much younger than Trump.

You have not made a clear argument, you have tried to make some nebulous connection between him clearly lying to the FBI about 3 different subjects to his career in military intelligence. Again, the judge was "disgusted" and was ready to jail him unless he was willing to testify against two of his former business associates who, like Flynn, were illegally lobbying for Turkey (you know Turkey whose president's conversation with Trump appears to be the impetus for Trump to falsely tweet out that ISIS was defeated and that he was pulling troops out of Syria without even telling, let alone consulting with the pentagon).

And the judge, in the context of handing out a sentence, can talk about the other crimes Flynn has admitted to given the evidence, which are crimes that Mueller is giving him a break on and is not charging him with because of his subsequent cooperation. The judge has more information about the crimes than the public does, is outraged at Flynn’s criminal behavior, sees the break Flynn is getting, and sees the way Flynn and his lawyers are trying to spin it to seem like he didn’t do nothing and the FBI is actually the one at fault (you know all that stuff Trump defenders had been posting on here up until that hearing). The judge (who Flynn's attornies were happy that had been assigned to the case because he is known for being tough on prosecutors (e.g., in Senator Ted Stevens' case)) thought that was outrageous based on the facts, and doesn’t want to yet give Flynn the break Mueller wants to give him and is asking him to do more to avoid prison. Right wingers wanting to compartmentalize Flynn's behavior to only the things Mueller (as a reward) wanted to charge Flynn with is not something the judge could stomach, and he is taking the totality of the "disgusting" evidence into account when considering Flynn's punishment.

Overall though, as usual with how right wingers are inculcated to think when it comes to anything related to Trump, it’s somehow the person's fault for calling Trump, or someone associated with Trump, out for fucked up and even illegal behavior, and not Trump’s fault, or someone associated with Trump’s fault, for doing the thing (e.g., the judge is a partisan panic wrestling you were doing a couple of days ago).

We already established that the judge knows more than we do, so he wasn't simply responding to Flynn lying three different times. Those other things the judge knows are directly related to Flynn's activity while employed in military intelligence. They are things that the rest of us can only guess about, since we don't know them, right? It puts those of us don't know these other things at a loss, since we just have to take the word of partisan nuts for it that Flynn is a full blown traitor. Flynn has not plead guilty to any crimes other than lying to the FBI. And, there are plenty of liars to go around in the previous administration, so I am not buying the outrage over Flynn's lying...

He is also someone who couldn't go to war because of his feet. Never trust a man with a spray tan and soft hands.

The crimes were when he was a national security advisor to the Trump campaign and when he was national security advisor to the POTUS, not when he was actively employed in military intelligence. And no, we are not listening to some partisan "legal expert" like Jeffrey Toobin blathering about Flynn, it was a federal judge, who, based on his previous rulings, has a reputation (e.g., a "man who does not tolerate injustice or abuse of power" who has a "track record of calling out prosecutorial misconduct") for views that Flynn's lawyers and Trump supporters thought were going to work in their favor. You can bend reality to not accept the facts that led to the judge being "disgusted" by Flynn's conduct, that is up to you if you want to lie to yourself.

He had alleged bone spurs in his foot. If that's true, he'd be a detriment to anyone in his platoon because he'd constantly be slowing them down. You holding it against him really shows you don't value the efficiency of our military.

Your commitment to whoresmanship is laughable. Couldn't go to war, but could spend his bone spurred summers playing squash.

You're an idiot if you think playing leisurely squash is anywhere near as demanding as having 50+lbs of gear and marching through 100+ degree weather. Bone spurs are usually a result of joint damage. You don't want damaged goods as soldiers.

I know this is pretty difficult for you to understand. Your medulla oblongata doesn't allow you to think critically.

So, if Flynn is a "traitor" as you suspect, and he did treacherous things to betray the United States to the Russian government, you believe the genesis of this behavior was during his extremely short reign as National Security advisor to the President, and not during his activity in military intelligence where he may very well have had many interactions with many different foreign nationals? That is what you're perpetuating? That he changed "on a dime" so to speak rather than becoming acquainted with foreign nationals over the period of several years? That's a very quick turnaround.

You're an idiot who can't see a con man no matter how many times he cons you. Congratulations.

Fool me once, I'm an idiot. Fool me 386,432 times, MAGA.

Completely irrelevant to my points, retard.

If you're a rube who can't read, yes.
He acted like the chickenshit he has always been, yet you defend him like he's some alpha male. You're no different than the evangelical morons who "Can't know his heart."

Prosecutors say Flynn lied to the FBI when asked if he had asked the Russian ambassador to help constrain Russia’s response to President Barack Obama’s retaliation against Russia for its interference in the 2016 election, where he expelled suspected intelligence agents and shuttered two Russian diplomatic compounds in the US. Flynn also claimed not to remember Kislyak’s reply where he said Russia would, in fact “not take retaliatory measures” at that time.

Perhaps the biggest revelation from this charge: Flynn, according to prosecutors, reported back to an unidentified “senior official with the Presidential Transition Team” about his discussion with Kislyak.

The second conversation prosecutors say Flynn lied about involved a United Nations Security Council Resolution condemning Israeli settlements. According to prosecutors, a senior member of Trump’s transition team instructed Flynn to contact foreign officials, including Russia, to pressure them to vote against the resolution. Flynn, in his interview with the FBI, claimed he only asked their positions, and that he did not remember Russia’s response.

The third charge against Flynn says he misrepresented the extent of his work on behalf of the Turkish government through his firm, the Flynn Intel Group.

Do you comprehend anything that you read? I literally said Bill was younger, and that he had bone spurs.

How is that defending Trump? It's just pointing out obvious facts you're too stupid to acknowledge.

You failed to acknowledge that he did not actually have bone spurs, and merely bitched out like some fucking Ted Nugent. He can't even walk 200 meters without a golf cart, and you're going along the "He's in good shape, Bill was younger as president!!" despite Trump ALWAYS being a limp wristed, soft handed, spray tanned bitch.

As I said, top notch whoresmanship.

And what among those things would potentially carry a charge of treason?
  • He pressured Russia not to retaliate against the United States.
  • He spoke to a senior member of Trump's transition team about how he pressured Russia not to retaliate against the United States.
  • He owned a firm that did consultant work with the Turkish government.

It's too bad your legal acumen is not taken seriously by the OSC, or the courts.

And yet you're on the side that thinks Flynn did nothing wrong, and that's not the way the investigators see it. But good try acting like Flynn just talked to some Russians for completely legit reasons, despite the litany of instances showing him to be a foreign agent who then walked into security briefings, bringing his son along.

Naah. I'm on the side that thinks that Flynn is getting nailed to the cross for political purposes despite others in previous administrations getting away with doing far worse (up to and including weaponizing government agencies against political opponents and covering up grossly mishandled classified materials). All things are not equal.

A foreign agent?

Please provide said "litany of instances."
