There is no peace and quiet when hackers are exposing all your dirty tricks in the election. You have to focus your energy on retaliating against the people who exposed that you were doing shit like feeding debate questions to a presidential candidate. You can't take a break from seeking redemption at such a crucial time.

Why doesn't he just stay on vacation permanently then? If a state of heightened tension with Russia doesn't warrant his presence, when is his presence ever warrented?
 
I'm not an Obama fan, but don't all presidents take a ton of vacations? I mean it is basically the toughest job in the world.

They take far too much vacation time. But, right when tensions have supposedly escalated between the U.S. and Russia? He up and takes the family to Hawaii? There was just so much urgency over the matter displayed in the MSM that it seemed like he would have different priorities.

I don't defend Obama often, but I'm certain he still has minute-to-minute updates on the whole Russia thing, no matter where he is. I also have my doubts as to the whole Russia excuse, but I'm not going to fault a man for taking his family on vacation.

I think it's an indicator that the urgency of the Russia thing in the media is a bunch of smoke and mirrors.

It could be.

But it also could just be that this is his last vacation and his family was probably looking forward to it, and the man is trying to be a good father/husband.

I hate Obama's political policies but I gotta give him the benefit of the doubt here.
