Cruz’s resume at BW is very hard to argue even with the injuries.

Aljo is on paper the most winningest BW champion although many consider his run to have an asterisk.

Sean will need to rack up a few more big wins over the likes of Merab and Umar to his list to be considered for that title:

100% agree.

Cruz won 12 fights in a row at BW, and none of them were contentious decisions. Sean did much better than I was expecting against Yan, but most judges had him losing that fight.

If Sean beats Merab it will be a big feather in his cap, but he also needs longevity.
