Elections NYC mayoral race

I'm not actually surprised they are going to elect a socialist. The people are stressed out. When people are distressed they seek both a savior and villain to make sense of things.

They will argue at the end of his term that he wasn't socialist enough

I think he’s only increasing taxing those who earn a million or more and I don’t recall it being a huge tax increase. Billionaire funded propaganda networks have really twisted reality. I think how we are doing things now is extreme. Nearly a trillion dollars in military, a handful of people owning like half the wealth, AIPAC and big business buying politicians, etc. Change is scary but I feel like if we don’t do something we’re fucked anyway.

buddy what economy? the businesses in new york still have to pay taxes even if the owners move. they aren't going to pack the businesses up and move them all to hartford or jersey. the business owners don't pay shit in tax outside of income tax anyways.
 
I would expect this in Portland, Seattle, or San Francisco. I figured NYC had to much common sense for this but the other guy mailed it in and the Commie campaigned like his life depended on it . Hopefully for NYC. Adams can somehow win as a I .

Ffs the guy has only been a citizen since 18.

Even LA’s mayor is a communist who was trained in Cuba. People like Schumer now bending the new to the far left part of the party. All the people in the house who get attention are young, far-left progressives, no moderates. Hardly any notable democrats senators outside of Warren, Bernie, and Schumer. Hardly ever hear about people like Klobuchar who may be more moderate.
 


Me watching the next four years of NYC devolving into a communist shithole.
