Goals & Gains Nu'Keese vs. A Lawyer

I always wanted to hit a 1k super total in a USAPL and USAW meet, within a short span of each other. My ankle left mobility issue and now left shoulder have kinda squashed the hopes of returning to WL in any competitive capacity. I will focus on PL for the next 3 years or so, then hopefully will just lift to get buff and try to look and feel better.

Ahh I see. Thats a great goal to have. You've still done great numbers both in WL and PL

Take it from me. I now lift mostly to get stronger and fit as I train primary for BJJ. But maan, I still want to chase those numbers and break PRs. Its an addiction hitting those big weights. Lifting to get buff and healthy just isnt as fun

Yeah, I am not looking forward to training for fitness and looks, all that shit is boring to me. I would like to get back on the mats at some point. If I can get back into jits and stay injury free, that might allow me to reduce time lifting and doing forms of cardio that I don't find to be fun.

No. I am usually doing other stuff while lifting, also since the smart phones have been around it is pretty much impossible for me to be bored in general.
