Not impressed with Garry tonight

Yeah.. his boxing is not really that good.

He is HUGE at WW tho. Magny usually towers everybody and is all lanky but Machado was taller and bigger.

100% fixed fight. Magny didn't throw a single hard punch for 3 rounds lmao. Just stood infront of Garry pretending to be a can.

What was weird to me was that he could land leg kicks at will, but couldn't land shit to the head. Then he goes on about being the best striker the division has ever seen.

Why would they fix a fight between Garry and Magny? Also, if the fix was in, then why the fuck have Garry lose stock for not finishing a one legged fighter since the first minute of the fight?

Your theory is ridiculously stupid.

Anyway to the topic, Garry is going to get killed once he steps up. He isn't very good.

Won every second of the fight against the guy who's been the top 10 gatekeeper for years but Sherbros aren't impressed.

Tough crowd.

Could have stopped Magny in every minute of every round, Magny's leg was fuck.

But...Ian just stood there, until a leg kick a minute later. Then stands there again. Magny was literally hopping around and Ian couldn't close the show. 3 round fight. I'm not impressed at all.

Made a fool of himself angrily taunting him during the fight instead of finishing it.

Ian seems like the kind of striker that once he faces an aggressive pressure foxused opponent that his style crumbles. I may be wrong but I was reallly annoyed that magny didnt try and to move forward, take a risk and put Ian on his heels, I mean this guy reminds me so much of Pettis its crazy that his opponents have not tried to push forward and take him out of his element.

His opponents tried so and actually had some success. Garry is legit so not so easy to crumble - definitely wasnt that easy with Pettis - but I think the likes of Green, Kenan or Williams had more succes than you would expect vs a guy hyped as a future tittle contender or champion

This absolutely. This was probably the only time I have ever thought that a fight was fixed in the UFC while watching it. Magny did NOTHING.
yep, going down 2 times with the first 2 leg kicks???? pulling guard? Magny needed either a win or a good pay, the win wasnt there that much cos he had no time to train properly, it was easier to take a dive and get some needed cash and satisfy pink greedy goof promoting next irish "star"

I think it looked like he was toying with his opponent to maximally embarrass and demoralize him.

lol when's the last time Magny got dominated on the feet like that?

Garry is a great prospect, hate him or not he's going to be a future contender.

Ponzi did the exact same thing to Magny like 5 or 6 years ago, except he managed to close the show. Big-time.

True man. Since it wasn't a KO/sub it can't be a fixed fight.

Magny just decided to not throw a single hard shot. Seems reasonable.

Back to the trailer now you chav trash.

Well time will tell. I thought he looked good. Even tho he did not get a finish, still preformed well.

Well, the first leg kick put him down. He's also not exactly a power puncher.

But yes, the fight was totally fixed. Ian looked amazing beating up a one legged fighter for 3 rounds. Good call by the UFC to fix that fight, and planning it the way they did. Was much needed for them.

You're a tool.
