Not impressed with Garry tonight

What in the ever-living fuck are you talking about? That was about as clean of a performance as it gets.

So having a defeated fighter infront of you from the first minute, leg absolutely buckled, could have finished him anytime. Yet goes the distance against a fighter with one leg from the first minute. That was not a complete performance.

He's pretty damn skilled, but he hasn't faced anyone. Magny is a pretty easy matchup for him though. The UFC has pushed him perfectly. I think he got lucky Neal couldn't make the fight.

Won every second of the fight against the guy who's been the top 10 gatekeeper for years but Sherbros aren't impressed.

Tough crowd.

For a guy labelled as tittle contender material if not champion, not that impressed despite the nice calf kicks.

Do you actualy believe Magny is a gatekeeper for the top10 at this point? barely edging split decs vs the likes of Rowe or Griffin and getting soundly beat by Chiesa.

WWs who were supposed to be in tittle contention used to run through Magny. Now that Magny is in the decline, we should take a decision over him as further proof of Garry's championship caliber in the level of a Shavkat or rather of a way overblown hype?

I admit the way Garry talks makes harder for me to jump into the bandwagon, but I honestly believe some of the most promising prospects at WW would've finished this version of Magny, and some other unranked WWs win a comfortable decision over him.
BTW, Ian boasted about "nobody" ever being able to KO Magny...of the top of my head I recall Larkin and Ponzi with much less hype about a potential tittle contendership that they actually never attained.
To Ian's credit, it was only in 10th pro fight.

It's all styles. Magny is easier to run through it you're a grappler but Ian didn't let him have any success at all. It'd be similar to saying there was no way Izzy would make it when he only decisions Brad Tavares for me.

Tavares was in his prime at 30 years old riding the best win streak in his career and coming off a KO over a tough guy in Jotko

Magny is the decline at 36 years old coming off a SD over Philip Rowe of all people.

Besides, Izzy's hype was backed up by great kickboxing credentials. It was actually what set him apart form other prospects.
And that's the point, I find very unjustified to even draw a comparison between Garry and Israel coming up.

Garry is young and getting experience so we'll see, but for now I dont see exactly what sets him apart from other promisisng propects at WW, other than the outstanding cringe talking.

Like i said he is another paddy, a shit copy of conor mc tapper with no class, ovvrated as hell abd given easy matchups and will always get the desicions wins.

Phil Rowe is pretty good tbf. I actually thought Magny did well to beat him.

Im not going to guarantee he'll be champ or anything, becoming UFC champ is fucking hard, but I do believe he'll contend for the belt at some point and he'll be a fixture in the rankings for some time imo

If he was someone you genuinely liked, I bet you and many other posters here would be saying something completely different.

lol when's the last time Magny got dominated on the feet like that?

Garry is a great prospect, hate him or not he's going to be a future contender.
Larkin did much better. So did Ponzinibbio.

Speak for yourself, I never hyped up anybody as future tittle contender for a dec win over Magny, much less current version of him.
Shavkat is a more credible hype not because the guy is more likeable. Look at their fights.

Dude couldn't finish a 3 piece and a soda.

Yet another case of outside the cage shit influencing what people see in the cage. Yeah, Garry is a big sack of assholes, but he dominated Magny like we don't often see. He did alright.
