Agree. For such a talent, he has flown under the radar to some degree. UFC has handled HW so poorly...*sighs*. Kinda sucks for Tom, bit I see a brighter future after (and hopefully...) he dispatches Gane after the latter's 27th title shot.

The only person who said Tom is irrelevant is Jones (quack!).

A story as old as time is the UFC using older high name value fighters who are on the way out to build up the younger up and coming stars. This was clearly their intention with Aspinall-Jones and they were willing to pay Jones more money then he's ever made in a fight to make this happen.
