No Rest for the Weary

Honestly I dont have a plan.
Im enjoying it at the moment. I feel im getting stronger, I work up to around 100-115 for my bench, 177 - 190 for my squats and around 200 on deadlifts each week and It feels good to keep up at that intensity each week.

I plan on maxing a bit during the summer, not sure how or when. Ill have to bother Tosa :D

The pump on that exercise is awesome. You really get a good stretch. Ill stick with it for a while and see if there's any results

Deadlift felt ok. But my hands were bothering me, the calluses hurt like hell. Need to get rid of those. Bench sucked, its depressing how weak my upper body is.

Very surprised you missed the last rep at that 60x5 press set, considering how much stronger than mine your bench press is. What is you press PR (and/or 5-RM)? Do you have any vids of your pressing?

In other news, painful calluses suck!
 
Im guessing its because of the incline bench done before the press. Im awful at incline bench too.

I did 85 almost 1.5 years ago. Back then i focused alot on my pressing and used the olympic press that rippetoe teaches (with hip drive) After that I switched to a stricter technique.

I like pressing, but i feel that i cheat too much on them with layback some leg drive, etc (because of my ego). So for the last year ive just done it as assistance. Think ive done 70x5 fairly strict, but im not sure.

Maybe i just got weak shoulders. Cant blame the exercises, lol
