Felt okay, did a double just for the lulz. Belt can still get a notch tighter
Bench was hard. Hopefully it gets better soon. Have sucked the last 4-5 days.
Not sure what to do next cycle - might not add weight if this continues
Good intensity today.
Im soon getting over the cold. Hip still hurt a bit. Pec feels good

Felt okay, did a double just for the lulz.

I'm glad to see someone else making more workout decisions based on lulz. I used to just consider stuff like my need for intensity, volume and recovery, and my workouts were, as a result, pretty much lulz-free. And who would want that?

^ the "for teh lulz" principle has basically been the core of my programming the last several months.

Solid squatting, brosef.

Thank you my greek friend!

Im glad you switched your point of view, Jaunty.
The "for the lulz principle" is the future of S&C. I think Wendler is in the process of making a book based on "the lulz in strenght training".

I think it will be hard for Wendler. He's too fixated on the concepts of awesomeness and also using male and female genitalia as main training principles. I think we need a new guru to popularize lulz-based training.

true, someone like this maybe

20 minutes on the stationary bike
Chins x 15,8,8
Curls on incline bench: 10 x 4 x 12

achieved a pump and finished

I agree. How can it not?

Bench Press
70 x 5
82.5 x 4
97.5 x 2 x 3
110 x 2 x 2
125 x 1,1,1
110 x 2 x 2

Deadlifts
120 x 3
145 x 3
167.5 x 2 x 3
192.5 x 2 x 2
belt + straps
215 x 5, big pr?

Front squats
90 x 6 x 5
Incline db bench press
17.5 x 5 x 10
Russian twists
+15 x 3 x 10

Time: 1h. 45min

Bench felt OK. Was hoping for it to be easier, so I went all out on deadlifts.
Sheiko called for 2 singles at 215. 215 is 90%, and based on how it has felt on rack pull day I went for 5 reps and got it.

I cant remember repping anything over 200 since doing 210 for a double. So this is probably a huge PR.
Anyway, its over 2.5 x bw for 5 reps which is a nice goal ive had, but forgotton about.
Form looked like shit, which dissapointed me.
Back to the drawing board . :icon_sad:

Sold-ass pulling. Congrats for the huge rep PR.

Nice benching, too.

I see you're really committed to the for-teh-lulz principle.

Sold ass, lol
Thanks, yeah - I went for the lulz today!

* solid

I'm pretty retarded when it comes to typing.

Sheiko 37 next?

Hips a little painful, other than that I feel good

Dose asses.

..I mean hips.

...I mean, how are your hips?

Also, 5 reps for standing rollouts is getting pretty hardcore. Just got an ab-wheel (so far always used the one at the gym). As soon as I'm confident my elbow can take it, I'll start working on them to make up for the lost ground. :)

And was this your second cycle?

So did you do 29 and then 31?

Oh, so thats why you stopped rolling.

Hips are ok, the left side hurts a bit near the illiac crest when I touch it. They still snap though. Need to buy that foam roller soon

This is my fourth cycle. Ive done 29,29,30,31.
Time goes by fast man.

Indeed it does.

Are you going to do a bunch of cycles, then do a prep cycle and test your maxes?

And did you have a specific plan getting into this or are you deciding on the cycles as you go along?
