Yeah I just thought it was a fairly interesting article. It says he lifts weights even though people say he doesn't. Everyone is just so used to the "how do I look like GSP" threads that they expected me to post in the same fashion. I thought I would get it worse then that so I stuck around the thread long enough to make it clear that my intentions were purely to initiate discussion. Thank god they got distracted by arguing over whether Fedor is a S&C noob or not.
However they didn't take into account that I do not want the physique of Fedor so why would I copy his methods, clearly lifting weights makes you slow and fat and bald and Russian.
For the record the MMA gym is simply affiliated with the kenpo karate gym because they were opened by the same people. However they are in different buildings and have different instructors.
I am currently doing No-Gi, and plan to move onto the MMA class once I have built a foundation, and will also be taking boxing and kickboxing along with riding out noob-gains in my lifts for as long as possible.

No-Gi class, worked on rolls out of turtle position. Hit the weightroom after, I was pretty tired so I only did a little bit of lifting.

I can hit much higher but Rip says if I want to ride out gains for as long as possible I need to leave growth room and increase weight by 10+ each week.
