BJJ Gi Class
Good day today, worked on S-mount+ a couple of subs, proceeded to have a few good rolls afterwards. However while I was able to set up subs fairly well, I need to work on finishing them e.g. locking up the triangle completely before they posture, breaking grips and extending the arm before they stack me.

So I moved into my new home, UC Berkeley, and the gym is amazing. 8+ Power racks, more olympic bars/weights than I can count, and apparently there is an olympic lifting room that I have yet to find. First day here and I went to the gym.

Learned some basic timing drills, hell of a warm-up. Then we got to do ground work and jiu jitsu reigned supreme. Managed to arm-bar a brown belt though he woulda tooled me through ippon.

Why does my bench suck so hard? Is it the grueling squats before hand? Is it adjusting to the new benches? Why Why Why?

Not sure if this was a rhetorical question, but your bench isn't bad. Not alot of people can bench over their BW for reps. Watching the video of Dave Tate about bench form has helped me with that lift.
