Nick's Journey to Peaked Bi's

I am going to Berkeley next year.

I have been going to Jiu Jitsu regularly, I got a gi and am now white belt two stripes and should be getting my third and fourth fairly soon. I rolled my foot a couple weeks ago so I haven't been able to squat. However I have used the time to work a bit on my bench and I hit 151x5 recently. Sorry for not being able to pull that off during the comp!
 
I thought you were killed in a tragic barbell accident, welcome back.
 
good work nick, I am sure you are going to have your hands full with all of the women there. its good to see you sticking with the training, sit sucks about the ankle. far out
 
Good to see you guys are still around! Both your numbers are looking excellent. I definately haven't quit training, but I have been focusing on my BJJ, I'm hoping for my blue before I have to go to college.

My Jiu Jitsu has been improving and I'm excited about that. Some of the bigger guys who are much stronger than me have complimented me on my grappling strength so this weightlifting stuff must be legit.

Tuesday 7.13
Did gi class, worked on escaping mount, then a conditioning circuit which had low weight high pulls, Push Presses, Jumps, Jump Roping, and Medicine Ball squat-throws. The class was alright, I'm really starting to become more confident and my flexibility is slowly improving though it still sucks.

Worked on form, its getting better after those Tate videos.

Gi Class
I felt like I did really well in today's class, worked on escaping side mount+possible darce attempt, and I hit a clean scissor sweep on a bigger guy (around 70 lbs heavier than me), had a couple good subs, etc. I really enjoyed it.

Played soccer with the family afterward.
