Sir, I believe you are mistaken. I realize you respect BJJ a lot, and its a great form of grappling, but it is a do all for street fighting. And I'm confident those 2 have too much to lose to be engaging in street fights. And I mean they have their reputation to lose. And to clarify, the Gracie challenge never took place on the street w/o rules. Never.

So let me ask you this, how would one of your kung fu super heroes beat a normal well rounded mma fighter? He'd eye gouge him and get armbarred, or aim for the nuts and get KTFO or a judo throw to the pavement? People pull guard in BJJ tournaments to get to the mat action faster. In a street fight they'd just trip you and pound your face in.

Again, I never said that. For about the 89x, I said elements to street fighting and MMA are different. I never glorified it. It should be avoided. I am saying there are a lot of people, Thompson in particular, who think because they are an above average MMA dude, they can demolish anyone, anytime, anywhere. Definitely wrong.

Lol your crazy man, I can tell you never been in a fight. You act like some kid on the street could stop Matt Hughes from taking him down because its a street fight. I would like to see you try and grab an MT guys nuts while his ramming knees into your face. I would like to see how strong you are when you get arm barred, I guess you will just go Rampage and start slamming everybody. I would love to see you stop a take down on somebody who trains. Everything else aside, here's what bothers me---this guy and his manager compared the UFC and its fighters to Toughman. Honestly, if you can look at both, and not see that there is dramatic difference between the levels of talent, then you're an idiot.

On top of that, if you can't tell the difference between a mixed rules fight like the UFC, and low-level boxing, like Toughman, then anything you claim to know about Martial Arts is totally suspect.
