Sir, I believe you are mistaken. I realize you respect BJJ a lot, and its a great form of grappling, but it is a do all for street fighting. And I'm confident those 2 have too much to lose to be engaging in street fights. And I mean they have their reputation to lose. And to clarify, the Gracie challenge never took place on the street w/o rules. Never.

The Gracie Challenge was done under the old Vale Tudo rules..."anything goes", so yes, there were NO rules. They took place in dojos where the activity could be hidden from the public. Again, Matt and Renzo have students who aren't in the public eye, and I'm sure they would be happy to take this challenge. If it's been done at my RG school, then I know it would be done in others.

I am saying there are a lot of people, Thompson in particular, who think because they are an above average MMA dude, they can demolish anyone, anytime, anywhere. Definitely wrong.

you can cal it sport or whatever you want. but mma fighters train, condition, spar for a LIVING. hours upon hours a day. wrestling, boxing, bjj, etc etc, ALL which are elements of REAL fighting. Thompson could annihilate this fool and most people that don't train SHIT or only one style if he wanted to.

He'd eye gouge him and get armbarred, or aim for the nuts and get KTFO or a judo throw to the pavement? People pull guard in BJJ tournaments to get to the mat action faster.
