canucks lost to the sharks the other day. seasons over, time to pack it in.

canucks vs ducks tonight. i got my crying towel ready!

patrick kane just signed a 1 year 2.5m contract with detroit this afternoon

that could be a hell of a steal if patrick kane is able to get healthy soon and bounce back to his old ways after the hip surgery. i'm skeptical of it but we'll see.

The other rumour I read was him betting against the team.

That wouldn't result in Chi putting him waivers to terminate contract as some team could pick him up. He would have broken NHL regulations and they would have straight up suspended him pending full investigation

Ducks had a shot at the end with that PP, but did absolutely nothing with it.

3rd line minutes + in first PP unit?
Though Larkin, Cat and Kane is not a bad first line assuming Kane has recovered well from the surgery.

I feel that the rumour is absurd but the fact that no one's shot it down yet.

I don't know what it was, but it's gotta be pretty damn bad for them to take such drastic measures and basically destroy the guy's reputation, and likely chase him out of the league. Messing around with your teammate's mother(as long as it was consensual) would maybe warrant a trade for fucking with team chemistry, but not this public flogging and dismissal.

I'm thinking it's gotta be a hazing incident that didn't sit well with whom I can only assume was Bedard.

good scrap
but some weakass calls

I can't remember seeing that happen before.

Wings got a 4 min PP.

Refs saw the replay and took it back.
