after corey perry got axed, canucks traded anthony beauvillier to chicago for a 5th round pick and a 3rd round pick the year after. dunno if im thrilled about that, but then vancouver just traded that 5th round pick to calgary in exchange for 6'6" 235 pound defensive defenseman, nikita zadorov. i'm liking this trade alot.



flames fans are already pissed off and are calling this trade a fireable offense and are now calling for conroy's head on a pike. they expected a much better return for Big Z than a bunch of bottom draft picks.

corey perry made this deal possible!

zadorov is gonna hang out in calgary cause the canucks play the flames on saturday. calgary fans have set the over-under for big hits from Big Daddy Zaddy at 4.5

pair him on the 3rd line with tyler myers and they can just lay waste to everybody on the rink.

yeah i like this trade. just as long as gonchar can get him to thrive and play into to the canucks defensive system, this should pay off in spades. they've already unfucked tyler myers and he's not quite the liability that he used to be. now they just need to get this guy to play hard and a little bit smarter and he should do alright in the back end.

Damnit, this Perry situation must be revealed! Dude releases a presser and says...absolutely nothing, except that it didn't involve teammates or their family members, and a bunch of apologies for doing...something that shall not be disclosed.

I never thought I'd ask this, but....c'mon TMZ! Get to the bottom of this!

coyotes have put a nice string of wins together. just beat the avs, lightning, and knights in a row.
 
@Rawex Nemec has been called up after Hamilton went to IR ( :( ). Gonna be interesting to see how he does. Devils could easily miss the playoffs this season if the shitty goaltending continues and the tough injury luck continues.

Finnish second rounder from last still doing well apparently, 10th goal already at 19 years old in Liiga

Great shot but worth pointing out goalie was blocked by 3 players. That said if he keeps playing like this great winger for Hughes or Hiscier (assuming they stay healthy or Lenni for that matter, not the biggest player is he? Granted still 19 and will bulk up later on.

Elite Prospects lists him at 1,85 with 84kg, so if he fills out a little he should be fine. :)

chemistry and discipline.
their season is a wash, but hehe.
