Trump sorta did alright in Real Estate which his grandma started and he is also good at convincing people business is his strength so they buy tacky shit with his name on it. Another strength is fucking hard working American contractors out of money he owes them. That number is in the thousands.

It depends on the gators size and how many and how hungry they are. Most of the time they will leave you alone. Now if you got hurt climbing the wire on the fence and were bleeding that may change the odds.

Then just getting across the swamp with and snacks us nor going to be easy.

I wouldn't necessarily call the xenophobes "stupid." Some of them are, and one could argue that racism and xenophobia are always stupid as general concepts. That being said these people are managing to exploit political complacency and make xenophobia and divisiveness official US policy. It's at the point where US citizens are regularly being profiled, legal residents are being held, one has died in custody and there will be no accountability for it. It's time to call this sh*t what it is, unadulterated hatemongering, and the outright desire for there to be legal consequences for dissent. Now that residents and citizens are being caught up in this, the next step is for political opposition to be targeted. McCarthyism 2.0

What could possibly go wrong with putting a half-assed, ground level detention center smack dab in the middle of a huge swamp, in the state most at risk for hurricanes and flooding?

Surely the first deluge won't flood the shit out of the compound, and surely it won't lose power. And when this surely doesn't happen, surely evacuating thousands of people via the one, now flooded airstrip will be a piece of cake (and a top priority!)

I'd call them retarded, but they're well aware of the risks. They just don't care about them.
